Here's the Challenge: I will donate an additional $1.00 for each post up to 250 posts telling us what your favorite Chick-Fil-A menu item is. I've never eaten there but I'll dang sure be on Wednesday. This thread is created to help Free Republic keep the lights on as well as help me choose what to order on 8-1-2012! Come on FReepers, don't be CHICKEN!!
p.s. I DOUBLE-DOG dare any Freeper to match the dare at any set figure from one buck on up.

There is no chick in our area. I am going to call the one in the next state and buy the next lucky order in the cash register their meal via credit card. Maybe even twice on Wed!

The Chick-Fil-A sandwich - it’s a classic and amazing! Best on the market, IMO
I'll have a camera for sure but what is Chick-fil-A sauce?
I love the spicy sandwich. Unfortunately, it gives me major heartburn, so I usually get nuggets - which are great!!!!
Just had Chick-fil-A for lunch today in Dover, DE.
Love their salads—in fact, big enough for Mrs. exit82 and I to share. Love their waffle fries—but cannot eat them anymore due to diet. Sigh!
Can’t come on Wednesday—they are too far away—but today we were in the area and made it a point to eat there.
The place was jammed, but we got our food in about three minutes, PLUS TWO FREE COOKIES!!!!! (Don’t eat wheat, so saved them for my daughter at home)
Plus two coupons for a discount breakfast.
Plus there was a raffle going on for various food prizes—two raffle tickets gratis.
Clean, friendly, efficient, good value for the money. A distinguished older gentleman on staff named Carl went from table to table and offered to refresh our drinks and get anything else we needed. In a fast food joint!
I love Chick-fil-A.
I love the Cathys.
And I love the fact that the Palins went to one in Texas.
Every Republican politician should be going to one during their “vacation” from DC.
Seems only the Palins are smart enough to have figured that out.
My favorite is honey BBQ chargrilled chicken sandwich + waffle fries + cole slaw + lemonade. YUM!

We are too, and we are getting on the Democrats’ website to say that instead of contributing to campaigns this year, we will be buying CFA gift cards for our grandkids birthdays in Aug. and Sept.
It’s OK to mess with a Dem’s mind because there is so little damage done.
Sorry to say, I had not heard of Chick-Fil-A until recently. I don’t live near one. Then I learned what the company was involved in, and I instantly became a big fan of everything on their menu.
I just can’t make up my mind. It all looks great from here.

Not fair, I like so many things on the menu. Love the real lemonade and their nuggets are super. My wife likes the chicken soup.

I like the chicken salad sandwich with a side of cole slaw.
They have a bunch of different sauces for their sandwiches and wraps, but I’m fond of their house sauce:

The sauces are so good that some people eat part of their sandwich with one sauce and the other part with another. I also like their honey mustard sauce.

I never click on the Freepathon, not because I am a freeloader, but because I have locked in a monthly donation. Thus I am one of those that Jim can use in budgeting as a base amount. Jim needs all the help he can get - he is in California after all.
Original sandwich (hold the pickle, please) waffle fries and a Coke can’t be beat.
The chicken flavor and texture reminds me of homemade fried chicken like I used to prepare when I was a full-time homemaker and we raised our own chickens.

Nothing was said about eating it. So I figured a photo of my favorites I order was sufficient.

If I do splurge and get a small order of nuggets my fave sauce is Chick-fil-a sauce...my kids got me hooked on that wonderful stuff!
#1 Combo, no pickles with a cup of buffalo sauce to pour under the bun and two cups of ranch dressing to dip the waffle fries in.
If I’m in a mood to splurge I’ll go for a chocolate shake as well.
I did try the spicy chicken sandwich once but found that it combined with the buffalo sauce is just too hot for my palate.

I’ve been going to tem since I moved to Hotlanta in 2000. The basic sandwich, I think, is still the best. The fries are about the best out there.
I also appreciated the fact they were closed on Sundays.
The closest one to me (Colorado Springs)is a little too far to visit regularly but since the LGBT flap, I’m going to make a point of going there.

I usually get the deluxe sandwich with waffle fries. The grilled chicken garden salad with blue cheese dressing is great. CFA’s chicken salad is very good, but mine is better.
The “minis”——bite-sized sandwiches of chicken on yeast rolls with honey butter! They’re amazing. But they’re a breakfast menu item only.

It’s a tie between the spicey chicken bisquit and the chicken minis served on yeast rolls on the breakfast item. I had their chicken, egg, and cheese bagel this morning and I was surprised at how good it was. The bagel was not as hard as concrete like some other McRestuarant I know serves.

You know those minis can be ordered in bulk. I ordered about 20 or so to take to the office a few years ago around Christmas time. It’s about a 10 minute wait.
Heard about the chick-fil-a story last night on FR. Went out and bought their #2 meal deal with waffle fries.
