EXCLUSIVE: ‘Dark Knight’ shooting suspect James Holmes claims amnesia
ny daily news ^ | 7/26 | By Matthew Lysiak In Aurora, Colo. AND Larry Mcshane / NEW YORK DAILY NEWS

Posted on 07/26/2012 9:41:41 AM PDT by RummyChick

The Joker is playing the amnesia card.

Accused mass murderer James Holmes told jailhouse workers that he remains stumped about what landed him in a Colorado lockup, a jail staffer told the Daily News.

“He claims he doesn’t know why he’s in jail,” the worker said Thursday. “He asked, ‘Why am I here?’”

Holmes, 24, who is charged with shooting a dozen people to death and wounding 58 more at a screening of the new Batman movie, was also complaining of a stomach ache caused by lousy jail food after his sixth day at the Arapahoe County Detention Center, the worker said.

“He’s claiming his belly hurts him,” the worker said. “He complained once that he didn’t like the food . . . The guy killed 12 people, and he’s upset that he’s not getting a four-star meal?”

The former California honor student picks at his meals on some days, and doesn’t eat at all on others. A typical breakfast would include sausage and grits, while lunch could mean a ham sandwich.

Holmes was arrested in the parking lot of the Century 16 multiplex in Aurora, Colo., within minutes of his bloody rampage early Friday through a showing of “The Dark Knight Rises.”

Holmes surrendered without incident to police.

The suspect remains under 23-hour lockdown, leaving his cell just once a day. Authorities fear that other inmates could target Holmes and have him wear a bulletproof vest during his daily walk.

The jail worker said most folks inside the county lockup consider Holmes’ memory loss a ruse.

“He needs to save his act for the jury because no one here is buying it,” the worker said. “Everyone is convinced he is faking it.”

Published reports indicated that Holmes mailed a notebook filled with gruesome sketches and details of his plans for the attack in the crowded theater.

The notebook was in a package sent to a professor at the University of Colorado, where Holmes was a Ph.D. candidate until dropping out of school just prior to the killings.

The FBI snapped up the evidence after school officials notified them that the package was at the university.

In a statement, the university denied a report that the package sat in its mailroom for a week before the shooting spree.

The package was delivered by the U.S. Postal Service on the Monday after the shootings, and forced the evacuation of a campus building for 2 1/2 hours, the statement said.

The notebook and the rest of the contents were turned over to investigators within hours of the package’s discovery, the university said.

Claiming to have amnesia is just going to fuel the fantasies of the superstitious. I look forward to countless rants on how he’s not responsible because he was possessed now.

LOL ... and he can discover why he's in jail when his miserable life flashes before his eyes.
We need to bring back public hangings.

We can fix that for ya, Jimmy.

We will strap you face down,
Place a bit of sugar in yer butt crack,
And send in about one hundred bullet ants to.....eat the sugar.....
And make a new home out of your rotting carcass.

That food that you don't like will be out of you lickety-split

................eventually.

(At least the bullet ants won't complain like you, you little b**ch!!!)

The jailhouse food is okay. It’s the fecal matter in it that causes the stomach to hurt.

Yeah right. He was able to send a notebook about what he was going to do, bobby trap his appt and for 2 months or so looked online and bought all his gear and other items for this event he now says he doesn’t know why he is in jail.

I am not buying it, sorry.

He managed to remember that he’d booby-trapped his apartment and told the cops about it after his arrest. So much for the amnesia excuse. Maybe his defense will be “selective amnesia.”

It took months and months to build those bombs in his apartment.

Real amnesia is so rare that this claim should not be taken seriously. The last real amnesia case I’ve heard of was a female college student in WA state. She apparently became like an infant and had to be raised all over again. No faking that.

Amnesia is real if it is programmed. They did it during MKUltra.

If you are a schizo is it possible to do things under one personality and not remember?

Amnesia due to a psychotic break???

If you were under drugs it could cause amnesia but a drug test was done. I assume it would detect scopolamine.

Having had a very close relative who was a paranoid schizophrenic, I can tell you that this is not at all unusual. One of the reasons my relative never got treatment was that at times, she seemed perfectly sane - but this was essentially her “crazy self” that was telling her that it was time to act sane for one reason or another (usually an encounter with law enforcement).

Many people who are mentally ill in a classic sense - that is, something beyond their control that takes over their lives - are also a little on the neurotic side and their neuroses (desire for attention, etc.) function in tandem with their psychosis.

It’s not surprising that psychosis was considered demonic possession once upon a time, because it really is as if some other force has taken over these people’s lives. But it is a very canny, wary force and it is devoted to its self-preservation.

If you don’t read the Bible or aren’t Catholic, look up Gadarene swine. Of course, Jesus sent them over the cliff and they all perished, but most demons want to live to fight another day.

I can tell you that I don’t say that was done.

I say that it is possible.

MK Ultra was real.

The Franklin Cover Up is real. Know anything about it????

Kids turned into schizophrenics in order to do the bidding of others. I think former CIA Director Colby died because of that Cover up

The Holmes family has interesting history.

James was not their real son.

This incident could be many things along a spectrum.

We will never know the truth.

MK Ultra shows this story about Sirhan Sirhan is possible

http://www.upi.com/Top_News/US/2011/03/01/Lawyer-Sirhan-did-not-act-alone/UPI-88601299019143/

Might have been the Russians, mob, CIA, any number of enemies.

Or he might have acted alone.

The FACT is programing a person to kill and not remember later is shown to have been done through MK Ultra. Russians know how to do it, too. Doesn’t mean it was done in Colorado. But it is possible.
