Here in Washington, the schools serve free box lunches to anyone under the age of 18. All they have to do is show up. It’s not need based or anything.
This is Washington state I gather. Oh well, that’s your state’s business.
And this summer at the school I took some kids to (I am a guardian) they no longer discourage adults from “finishing the plate”. Up through last summer they were very strict on that.
