Well that’s the absolute best plan I can come up with.

Romney 2012.

Palin 2016.

With, or without the 2012 nomination for VP.

This thread did bring out the defacto Obama supporters.

In your case, it brought out a defacto LIAR.

Roll over and abandon your principles if you like. That's your choice. God help you.

Oh, are you saying I was wrong about you sitting at home watching the convention on television while doing nothing concrete about changing its outcome? If so, I apologize.

What then are your plans for disrupting the convention while all the other "arm chair patriots" do nothing?

What specific actions are you planning to take to over turn the will of the Republican primary voters? I assume you and your forces are well-armed and ready to die for the cause?

Good luck to you sir. Have you settled on a candidate yet? You might want to make sure he's willing to accept the nomination once you secure it for him by force. Some people shy away from such anti-democratic third world shenanigans. Pussies.

Then I say we stick it to the GOP establishment and vote for anyone but Romney (and Obama).

Obama agrees wholeheartedly!

You are not a revolutionary. You just play one on the internet.

dead, heed "Famous last words." Windflier, like me and the owner and founder of this website and like nearly 200 other FReepers who post here, is standing to resist tyranny with HIS VOTE.

YOU are on the verge of caving to it with yours.

I'm glad you weren't here in 1776 -- and I know for CERTAIN that guys like Windflier and Jim Robinson WERE.

See my Post #79. Future generations will judge our votes in this election, and that is the measure by which we should make our decision.

If we are wrong, and if, by 2016, the American Republic has become so "changed" by the combinations of powers who pull the strings which control the current Administration that we no longer can exercise our prerogatives under Article V of our Constitution, then our big "stand" today won't matter much.

If "Baraq & the Chicago Mob" are that powerful, why in the hell are they "allowing" us to have elections in 2012 at all?

If Congress is so powerless to stop an out-of-control President, how did this nation last for as long as it has?

Sorry ... not going to follow your lead. You vote for ObamaRomney if you want to. I'm voting for something completely different: a conservative. Go Virgil Goode!

You are clearly unable to follow the conversation here.

Windflier (and a few others) are talking about overturning the vote of the Republican primary voters. Abolishing votes cast by other American citizens to strong arm their own candidate into the nomination. Like we live in Argentina or Libya or something.

If you are going to express an opinion, try to at least understand the debate first. Like the founding fathers did.

I have not told anybody who to vote for in any coming election, btw. I've only stood for respecting the results of ballots already cast.

Is Sarah Palin going to ride into the convention on a unicorn and be annointed by the palm frond waving hordes?

Don't kid yourself. There are people on this forum who seriously believe that this is going to happen (well, maybe not the unicorn part but definitely the palm frond waving hordes).

I wonder what planet some of these folks are living on I'm sure it's a happy one. At any rate, it's about to collide with planet earth.

Thank you sir, may I have another?

"Dude. Get over it. We lost the primaries.

Hey Dude...in Iraq they said the same thing every year..Saddam won the primaries...so just get over it.

Everyone was forced to vote for the establishment, but at least you knew if you didn't you might get put in a torture chamber.

What is your excuse for caving in on your principles and voting for establishment, big government, liberal A or establishment, big government, liberal B?

Yeah - future generations are going to really look fondly of the petulant children voting for fringe candidates and giving obama a second term vs at least taking a chance of changing the current mess.

I know what Romney is and I did not even vote for him in the 2012 primary - i voted for Ron Paul.

But it is what it is at this point. Sorry - Obama has to go.

These selfish agendas are sickening but people who seem to actually want this nation to implode under obama.

You have two choices; Obama or Romney. That is it. There is no “third choice.”

Your smoking some heavy pipe my friend....Virgil Goode is on the ballot and should get all of our votes. A true conservative.

Hey Dude...in Iraq they said the same thing every year..Saddam won the primaries...so just get over it.

Another genius weighs in.

So now you're contending that the Republican primaries were somehow as invalid as Saddam Hussein's elections?

Seriously?

You don't have to vote for Romney. Nobody does. But a plurality of GOP primary voters did. That's reality.

Romney won the nomination, legally and according to the rules accepted by all participants heading in. If you have some evidence that it was all a big fraud, or people were forced to vote for him against their will, please produce it. You look like a fool with such outlandish accusations.

We’re having elections because they’re pretty sure of a win.

As far as Congress, I think the Clinton impeachment scared them and they’re afraid to do it again.
