A conservative federal judge appointed by Ronald Reagan said in an interview published Thursday that the Republican Party has gone “goofy” and that “these right-wingers who are blasting [Chief Justice John] Roberts are making a very serious mistake.”

“I mean, what would you do if you were Roberts?” Judge Richard Posner, of the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, told NPR. “All of a sudden you find out that the people that you thought were your friends have turned against you, they despise you, they mistreat you, they leak to the press, what do you do? Do you become more conservative? Or do you say, ‘What am I doing with this crowd of lunatics?’”

If the Court takes what Roberts as precedent,it has great expanded the taxing power.

So why are the republicans calling it a tax? Maybe Romney’s first statement was correct. Then, as usual, he flipped.

Very well, your choice.
I don't trust him at all myself.
I've heard him in the past take liberal positions on issues way too many times.
He can call himself conservative all he wants, but IMO he's only in it for the money.

Political expedience. The Court is too useful as a means of distributing political, social .and economic power for them to beat up on it. Pretty obvious that Roberts’s opinion is nonsense, but hey.....

cede our FREEDOMS, SAFETY and SECURITY....

If you believe Mitt Romney will protect any of those three blessings, you are delusional. You seem willing to completely write off his record as Governor as not "current"? What kind of timeline would suit you? How about the scorched earth campaign against conservative candidates? That current enough for you? Or this, just yesterday, he rehired 2008 Palin hitman Kevin Madden. My dislike of this fool is just as RATIONAL as your devotion.
