WOW!! This is the wonderful silver-lining that so many Freepers have been pushing!!! YEA!!

I can see it now, the RINOS and Conservatives will unite and pass the repeal. Then the 300,000 plus bureaucrats hired to implement this monstrosity will be summarily fired.

Just think with Robert's wonderful decision we will be right where we were before Obamacare.

Roberts -- such genius. It will be sooooooooooo easy. Just think, for once big government will be rolled back!!! Can you believe it? I have to thanks Roberts for his wisdom.

One big problem though. Mark Levin has clearly explained that the precedent set down by this ruling will allow State Power to grow in ways not yet imagined. So, instead of ruling to protect the Constitution and joining with the Conservatives to kill Obamacare, we are left with a decision that will bring untold misery to tens of millions of Americans.

Roberts is some genius? No, Roberts has carried out a very evil act.

This is eventually going to end in shooting. This time it will be a civil war not a ‘war between states’. What is unfolding in Syria is a good model. It will be really vicious.

Here is what he actually said for all those who didn’t bother to read the article:

“If given control of the Senate next year, McConnell said he would support using budget reconciliation rules to repeal it. Doing so would prohibit Senate filibusters and require only 51 votes to succeed. In 2010, Republicans lambasted Democrats for relying on these rules to pass the health care bill, calling their tactics unusual and hyperpartisan.”

“I’m confident they’re going to give us the votes to repeal it,” he said of the American public.”

This article is a classic hit piece meant to demoralize conservatives and give talking point to liberals.

Hard to believe there are so my Freepers that still fall for this schtick.

Mitch is milquetoast of course but he did no wrong here.

Yup.

Hard to believe there are so my Freepers that still fall for this schtick.

But they do.

Mitch is milquetoast of course but he did no wrong here.

Yup.

Repealing Obamacare will require a dominant majority in the Senate. And repealing the 2700 page Obamacare bill won't get it all done.

For example, if I'm not mistaken, the "death panels" are in an agriculture bill.

Is McConnell wimping out?

No, he is just publicly revealing his true self. Longshanks. They are royal, we are not.

There are key pieces of Obamacare scattered all over the legislative lot.

If armed gunmen invaded McConnell's house, he would immediately start offering his children and wife as a negotiation tactic before any demands were made.

This is the telltail sign of an entitlement personality who chooses the easy way rather the right way which may require some effort to get their job done right!

At the end of the article.

McConnell still says he’ll do whatever he can to repeal the law.

If given control of the Senate next year, McConnell said he would support using budget reconciliation rules to repeal it. Doing so would prohibit Senate filibusters and require only 51 votes to succeed. In 2010, Republicans lambasted Democrats for relying on these rules to pass the health care bill, calling their tactics unusual and hyperpartisan.

“I’m confident they’re going to give us the votes to repeal it,” he said of the American public.

Romney is going to get slaughtered.

I can't WAIT to hear what the October Surprise is that's gonna be aimed at Romney.

It's gonna be a bigun.

“Mitch the Bitch snatches defeat from the jaws of victory.”

That seems to be his only play.

Somebody call an audible “Full Repeal”

IN the menatime, we need some conservatives WITH SPINE election - Ted Cruz in Texas.

Someone needs to challenge McConnell for majority post if/when we get 51 seats.

Here you go Mitch - Feel free to just cut and paste this and then set it for a vote on the record:

Whereas this POS was shoved up America’s butt (that’s the wrong way for y’all in Rio Linda) on Christmas Eve after bribing at least two Senators, promising unions waivers and pandering to the gimme more crowd we hereby repeal every damn page of this monstrous unconstitutional invasion of our God given rights and liberties. Effective immediately, no if ands or butts.

A vote for this bill shall also be considered as a vote to impeach John Roberts of the SCOTUS for following his ego instead of our Constitution - a high crime or misdemeanor - take your pick.

(Sorry about the legalese ;-)

LOL so in the “true swing States” he’s down by 8 points? You get to choose your own polling to back your Romney hating bent?

Since Rasmussen has proved to be the most accurate of all of them over the past three cycles, I’ll go with him even though at this particular time in the race it is a bit early to take them too seriously. If I’m not mistaken about this time in the race when Reagan ran the 1st time Carter was up by almost 20 points and we had many folks like you opining of his certain “landslide defeat”

I’ll just vote for the Republican because anyone is better then what we have. Meanwhile you can stay home as I’m sure you will and then bemoan the fact Obama won and the end of the world is here.

Article clearly states McConnell said he would repeal Obamacare using budget reconciliation if the Republicans take the congress. This would take just 51 votes and was the same method used by the Dems to base this monstrosity
