This is in no way a defense of John Roberts (or the SCUS in general) but shame on us (the citizens) for putting them in this situation.

We wouldn't even be dealing with this socialized medicine nonsense if we had elected enough congressmen and senators to stop this bill in its tracks.

We do still have the opportunity to overturn this monstrosity this November by throwing Obama out of office, ensuring that we maintain conservative control of the House and send at least 51 like-minded senators to the Senate.

We should not rely upon the SCUS to do our dirty work for us. Time to roll up our sleeves and get the job done ourselves this November. (I'd like to think this might have been the message Roberts was trying to send.)

“We should not rely upon the SCUS to do our dirty work for us.”

OMG. That is probably one of the most retarded things I’ve seen posted. I don’t give a rat’s ass what was sent to SCOTUS. If it’s unconstitutional IT’S THEIR JOB to overturn it. And this was 100% unconstitutional.

Wouldn’t want to sully, the precious jurists by HAVING THEM DO THEIR JOBS now would we?

Freakin’ joke.

As long as the public keeps falling for Tax the rich etc etc and the government should provide etc etc and the MSM and schools keep the boobs in line the future is a looming disaster

This bill was just a symptom not a cause

I think you are engaging in some seriously tortured logic in order to make sense of what Roberts did. Granted, the citizenry should not be electing greedy elitist halfwits to the Congress, but when the franchise was extended to women and non-productive men, that was an inevitability. However, your logic implies that the design of our government is such that the voting mob has the power to do whatever it wants. That was actually the opposite of the Founders' intentions.

So, you'll have to explain to me, if it is not the job of the Supreme Court to judge bills passed by Congress for their Constitutionality, then why do we have a Supreme Court? And if the Constitution is NOT a limit on the powers of Congress, then why do we bother having a Constitution?

The Old North Bridge is coming into view, buddy. Get ready for more than elections. Polling places and entire states are about to become battlegrounds. Buckwheat will try to lie, cheat and steal for himself a second term. The courts can no longer be trusted as disinterested arbiters upholding the Constitution and rule of law. On November 6, it may be necessary to be on the streets killing Buckwheat fascists and commies by the tens of thousands. Prepare yourself. Sorry to be so negative.

If you don’t like my words, then listen to Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn...

“Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if..”

Not his job to send us a message. His job is to interpret the law according to the Constitution. He was f*ing derelict in his duty.
