Obama is being hoisted by his own petard, and yet most seem to think Roberts should be hanged.

Obama is vermin. He's still going around saying it's a penalty. Now how does that work?! The Supreme Court rules, albeit a weak ruling, so the emperor thinks he can still change the ruling!?! What the heck?

After a full day of digesting what has happened, I have determined that we need to focus our energies on getting conservatives elected to office at all levels of government.

This is not news, we've known it for years. But the GOP has a tendency to throw a wrench into that idea, don't they? For me, this is the GOP's last chance. If they blow this, I will happily work to turn the Tea Party into a true political party that will do what they say and send the GOP to the scrap heap of history.

As for Roberts, he could have simply done the right thing and sided with Alito & Co. As far as I'm concerned, he's an elitist a$$hole undeserving of respect from true Americans. Stop defending this guy.

I hope the son-of-a-bitch lives the rest of his days nervous as a whore in church.

Along with getting a long lasting debilitating disease.

I do not agree. We have had Conservative presidents who have bent over backwards to put who they believed to be true Conservatives LIKE ROBERTS on the bench. Try David Souter, John Paul Stevens, EARL WARREN!

It makes no difference who you vote for as long as the SCOTUS is allowed to legislate, which is exactly what Roberts did!

He should be Impeached and removed from the bench at loss of pension and benefits if not thrown into prison.

Enough is enough!

Roberts is a mole or shill for the internationalists. He has his good friend Richard Haass of the Council of Foreign Relations to follow in the New World Order. Of course there are more than a few others who want the USA to go down that path to losing It’s exceptionalism. Recall Bush1, Soros, the Rockefellers, and all the Bildebergers. And lets’ not forget the Rothchilds who seem to have had money for years to corrupt governments. As long as these enablers don’t stand in the way of ball games, casinos, and the entertainment idols the path is cleared. I’m wondering what all the celebration on the 4th of July will really mean as to our Founder’s Constitution. I will think about WWII in which I served and in which my brother died on Okinawa.

I think that he knew this decision of his would be controversial. But I think he really under-estimated the response. He has no idea to what extent the reaction to his decisions will wrought.

What happened you ask?

I simply think Roberts is not a conservative, or as conservative as people think. I firmly believe the story that he did not like the dissenting opinions written by the other conservatives and thought they were too far right wing.

I think it’s as simple as that. The whole “evil genius” thing, or “did it on purpose”, etc, etc, etc...is just not true. I just think it’s as simple as Roberts is a middle of the road individual in terms of his politics.

What happened??????????????????

That's what I've been wondering since yesterday morning. I suspect at least one of the Liberal Messiah's apostles paid the Chief Justice a visit. I'm not convinced Roberts wanted to uphold the Individual Mandate or even ObamaCare at all. Would any of us be surprised to learn that the Liberal Messiah threatened the Chief Justice? It would be the Chicago Way.

He would have to be dead not to be aware of how hated his opinion was.

He won't suffer because only a person who could rationalize anything could have excreted the dreck that in contained in his opinion.

Nah. He’s unrepentant. Here is his quote:

“Well, I won’t answer anything that has to do with the second part of that,” Roberts said. But he said he hopes that the court under him is remembered as one that “did our job according to the Constitution, of protecting equal justice under the law.”

Lamberth hinted at the controversial decision when he asked Roberts if it bothered him that he can’t respond to his critics.

“No,” Roberts said, his brief answer hanging in the air to more laughter.

However, your logic implies that the design of our government is such that the voting mob has the power to do whatever it wants. That was actually the opposite of the Founders' intentions.

True and true. Not that I'm happy about it but it's the environment we operate in. I'm quite sure that the Founding Fathers did not intend for our nation to end up like this.

The Supreme Court is ultimately a product of the presidents we have been electing for the past 40 years. Aside from perhaps Reagan, all of them have been either liberals or RINOs. Thus we cannot be surprised at the results.

The reason we cannot seem to get a truly conservative president is because candidates for the job must appeal to women, who in large part have liberal, big-government views. Now I know there are some great conservative women out there but even they have to admit that they are in the minority. Increasingly, presidential candidates must also pander to the non-productive members of society in order to get elected. The welfare class and what not.

I would love to live in a republic where only tax-paying citizens had the right to vote. But you know and I know that is just not going to happen. So we must work hard to convert enough people to the Tea Party/conservative cause where we can start electing people who share our views.

I believe that we have a chance to make some inroads this November. A lot of people who thought they were liberal or "moderate" now see the Ponzi scheme that is welfare, food stamps, socialized medicine, etc. They are realizing that the center can no longer hold. Unless we reverse direction, we are going to lose everything.

We need to win those people over and we need to get out and vote this November to drive these big-government socialists out of power once and for all.

I never cared a whole lot for Roberts from the gitgo——thot he was a weak link and a soft choice by Bush to get somebody past Kennedy and Leahi. And he did not look like a leader, command presence and all, being important. I always thot something was wrong with him but did not know what. When he did the double cross deal with the girls I told my wife he must be off his meds. I guess the guy is epileptic. That’s what my wife thot I meant but I wasn’t aware of his actual condition. Don’t want to beat up on epileptics but have been there numerous times when one had an event. It takes awhile for them to get back to normal in my experience. Just seems to me that Roberts has had some sort of event that has messed his head up because there is nothing consistent/logical/thorough/disciplined/constitutionally rigorous about his whole filing-———just sayin’

“Time to roll up our sleeves and get the job done ourselves this November.”

The Old North Bridge is coming into view, buddy. Get ready for more than elections. Polling places and entire states are about to become battlegrounds. Buckwheat will try to lie, cheat and steal for himself a second term. The courts can no longer be trusted as disinterested arbiters upholding the Constitution and rule of law. On November 6, it may be necessary to be on the streets killing Buckwheat fascists and commies by the tens of thousands. Prepare yourself. Sorry to be so negative.

If you don’t like my words, then listen to Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn...

“Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if..”

Misinformed public, is all I can say.

What part of voting with Kagan did you miss?

What part of voting with Kagan did you miss? The court ruled that there is no limit to the Federal government as long as they call it a tax.
