He was voted out of office and refused to go so a large crowd removed him. He did not survive.

Nicolae CeauÅŸescu Was the guys name. Popular rebellion deposed him form office. The Army went to the side of the revolution and tried him and executed him and his wife. No vote. It was not the first time that I am wrong and will not be the last but I have learned.
