July the 4th will be suspended for me, as the nation it represented has been suspended.
He has obstructed the Administration of Justice, by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary powers.
For protecting them, by a mock Trial, from punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States:
He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance.
etc....
Yes, Independence Day is no longer meaningful. The Philosopher Kings have ruled and liberty is dead.
Funny that you should post this just a few minutes after I decided I was not flying Old Glory on the 4th. I will probably not fly it again. I no longer support a government that enslaves me and that I do not believe in.
I'm displaying the U.S. Flag draped with black ribbon this 4th.
If there is any comfort to you, we may have one more free election to turn things around.

It would only be worse under Romney, (but that’s no longer a concern).
If you want to make a better statement, fly your flag upside down.
Section 8a of the United States Flag Code:
“The flag should never be displayed with the union down, except as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property.”
I would say our current situation qualifies.
FREEPER BUSINESS OWNERS! Cancel 4th of July as a paid holiday as the reason for it’s celebration has been repealed.
