Has the Russian Army gone that far down, or is the Turkish military larger than I assume?
The payment is probably part of the deal for the Soviet aka Russian naval base in Tartus http://rt.com/politics/russia-plans-syrian-base-670/
AFAIK it won’t be much different from recent Georgian enterprise.
All of the ME should break out in war,battles and conflicts...oh, wait.
Turkey has already called a NATO meeting. They want us to meet our treaty obligations and fight on their side against Syria.
After what they did to us during Iraq...never!
