Just what does it take for a teacher to be fired these days?

I like it, all conservative publications that we know will not be published in the mainstream media should begin with “EXCLUSIVE”

I sure wouldn’t need some Central Office bureaucrat’s permission to home-school. WTF?

I do believe I'd be suing the school and making a very public spectacle of it all. If the school wants to play hardball, I'd play hardball. Particularly after the school is only worried about its image instead of honestly correcting what it is doing wrong.

The young man’s sister stated that assistant principal Antoine Brisbon said to her brother, “That was a very stupid thing you did. You have damaged the school. Our staff is taking a beating because our phones are nonstop. This is all over the country.”

Yep these petty bureaucrats don’t like their little fiefdoms disturbed by the little peons.

This kid is walking around with a target on his back. The Leftist kids in school are out to get him and the administration is less than sympathetic to his plight.

Hopefully somebody with bucks will see this and give him a free ride at a private school.

“That was a very stupid thing you did. You have damaged the school. Our staff is taking a beating because our phones are nonstop. This is all over the country.”

As Calvin Coolidge once said, “Tou don’t have to explain anything you don’t say”

If you don’t play stupid games you don’t win stupid prizes. {I am refering to the teacher in this instance}

If they were going to be stupid and send the kid back to the school, they should have had the boy secretly record the meeting with the principal. And then broadcast that. But I guess they would have had to have been a little bit smart to do that.

However, if they had been totally smart, they wouldn’t have sent him back to such a cesspool of non learning. Maybe they’ll learn and get him out of there next year if he still has more years left before he graduates.

“Assistant principal Antoine Brisbon said to her brother, “That was a very stupid thing you did. You have damaged the school. Our staff is taking a beating because our phones are nonstop. This is all over the country.”

That’s what Gov Wallace said to Ruby Bridges.

Antoine Brisbon is trying to quash the rights of this young man because of his color.

If this school has an anti-bullying policy, then the staff is not enforcing it. Perhaps the parents’ legal advisor wants to give them enough rope to hang themselves.

This is Penn State all over again. The only difference is the teacher (with the administration’s blessing) was raping these students’ minds rather than their bodies.

This kid needs to organize some kind of legal defense drive on the internet. I will donate to that cause, if I am convinced it’s going towards an actual legal fund and not just an “extended vacation” like the money for the harassed bus monitor.

I have nothing against the bus monitor or the people who sent her a half million dollars but let’s think for a moment about the difference between these two cases:

1) the kid was exercising his freedom of speech and calling the country’s attention to an example of how bad the government schools are in our nation and now is being stepped on my the authorities for his actions

2) the bus monitor wasn’t doing her job (the exact nature of which is completely unclear) but was viciously attacked by some young thugs

I’m not criticizing those sticking up for the bus monitor. I am saying that if the bus monitor deserves to get half a million for an “extended vacation”, this freedom fighting teenager deserves a darned good legal defense fund.

Sounds like Antoine Brisbon needs a few hundred more calls and some encouragement to do something else for a living.

The parents could sue the school board, school admins and the teacher to have the suspension removed from the record and to guarantee cooperation with the school to end any retaliation against the student.

I suspect they don’t have the money for such a suit.

Big lawsuit should be coming their way. Instittionalized hostile environment. Lots of underemployed lawyers should be chomping at the bit on this one.

Someone should start a fund for him just like they did for the bus lady and the girl who was jailed in Texas for truancy by that idiot judge.

The comments on the bottom of the article are scathing, as usual.

I don’t think you people realize this is how the Obama “brown shirts” act. INTIMIDATION and FEAR are their only means to an end.

If Obama wins reelection, get used to it for it will be the ground rule to ensure another Dem gets elected for President after Obama’s rule, if we have any elections at all then.

HE did not damage the school... the TEACHER did. of course, i would NEVER expect any teacher / progressive to see it that way.

i would also submit that the teachers in that school have been encouraging the attacks on the student... as evident by the asst. principal's attitude.

the FACT is politics should not have been brought up in class, unless it was a political class (in high school?)

Instead, the school offered for the young man to come to school after the other students were already in class, be secluded from other students during the school day and leave before school ended.

When was the last time you 'respected' a drunken bully - and member of the Longshoreman's union? Teacher's are equally 'charming'...
