The Tennessee Democrat party evidently doesn't believe Obama is eligible for office since they are they don't have to nominate someone who is eligible.
"Defendants assert that the Tennessee Democratic Party has the right to nominate whoever it chooses to run as a candidate, including someone who is not qualified for the office."

They can nominate anyone they want but we have to rely upon (I don’t know who) to ascertain eligibility. I sent a letter to Chief Justice Roberts and told him I believed that Obama was not a U.S. citizen and he shouldn’t swear him in. GUESS WHAT?

Also, Edge, I was on the birther side back then but I read other FReepers comments that caused me to REALLY look into it that ultimately led me to doubt the NBC clause in a Vattel sense. You might say I went to the dark side but until legal authorities state otherwise, I’ll obey the law. In other words, I am not convinced that our president requires citizen parents. Born in the USA rules with this Jersey boy!
