The Romney strategy the past eight weeks has been, in a small way, shrewd: have the candidate out there talking in a candidate-like manner, but don't let him say anything so interesting that it will take the cameras off Mr. Obama. The president is lurching from gaffe to mess, from bad news to worse. Don't get in his way as he harms himself.

As for the president, his big campaign speech last week in Cleveland not only was roundly panned but was deeply revealing. In it—all 54 minutes of it—he attempted to make the case for his economic stewardship and his re-election.
What he revealed is that he doesn't know the case for his own re-election.
Politicians give 54-minute speeches when they don't know what they're trying to say but are sure the next sentence will tell them. So they keep talking. They keep saying sentences in the hope that meaning will finally emerge from one of them.
A 54-minute speech is not a sign of Fidel-like confidence, or a love for speaking. A 54-minute speech is a sign of desperation.

Been true for a while, the more Obama speaks the worse he does.
Imho, one can review Obama’s speeches and they always have been glaringly radical/ ill informed. But the media and public just accepted that he was giving brilliant speeches.
His great “race” speech contained insane marxist assertions, he accused doctors of routinely performing uneccessary surgery on children, etc.
You do know, don’t you, that opposing 0bama is “racist”.
This is the main theme they’ll run on, behind the scenes.

Did you know she has three secret service agents? One for her torso and two for her ass.
Leading the opposition to another candidate or to his bad policies is a good start, but voters want to follow someone who will lead them in a clear direction. Noonan's advice for Romney to hammer one or two vital political goals evokes the smashing success of Reagan's campaigns and presidency. It is the road map to victory in November.

The USA Federal Government is broke, and is forced to borrow 3 1/2 BILLION dollars from our grandchildren EVERY DAY!
This then is the Federal Grandchildren Tax, or FGT, separate from the FIT or Federal Income Tax that only 51 % of us pay.
2012 is the third year of the American Taxpayer Revolt, in spite of what our sorry politicians and apathetic Liberal Agenda Media try to tell us.

If Romney is elected he has promised to “keep the best parts” of Obama”care” and send it back to each of the 50 States, resulting in the Death Knell of each of the 50 States that choose to keep the Obama”care” Death Knell.
Right now there is a 50-50 chance that Obama will get re-elected.
No matter that Obama was the worst Federal Financial Steward EVER!
If Obama gets re-elected he will just declare, by Executive Order, that Obama”care” is legal, and thus the demise of America will be accomplished during his Reign of Obamanation.
If THE NINE SUPREMES knock down ANY part of Obama”care,” then Senate Minority Leader Son-of-a-Mitch McConnell and Esteemed Sobber-of-the-House Boehner will rush to replace the Court-damaged parts of America’s Death Knell.
The only possible positive outcome will be to ABOLISH FOREVER Obama”care.”
America cannot afford to continue Federal programs to buy votes with debt that we charge to our Grandchildren.

Yes, she knew about all of it .. knew everything - just as we all did - but she didn’t care.
If I’m wrong, please correct me, but I don’t recall her writing a single article of warning as to who obamao really is. And there was so much info available in his own writings, not to mention his associations, that there’s no way she didn’t know.
Yet for her hopes of obtaining a speech writing position in the obamao administration, she literally threw the entire nation under the bus and wrote nothing but the most glowing articles about him.
Somehow, the taxpayers will end up picking up the tab. Libs are great for spending Other Peoples' Money to support their causes.
