Daniel Klaidman of Newsweek has written a new book, Kill or Capture , about the Obama administration's anti-terror policies, containing much information that obviously came from insiders, some of which is now the subject of demands for a special prosecutor to investigate leaks. In a review of the book in the Wall Street Journal, Mark Moyar quotes a passage that is frighteningly illuminating about the management style of the man upon whom our national security depends:
In one of his most telling passages, Mr. Klaidman depicts a passive commander in chief who often procrastinated in the hopes that problems would go away, a sharp divergence from the engaged and proactive president of the official narrative. "The president's own elusiveness created confusion about who was in control of policy," Mr. Klaidman writes. "In this vacuum his advisers fought brutally, each side invoking the president in support of its cause."
This seems to epxlain the president's policy toward Iran...

BS Drivel! Obama’s foreign and domestic decisions are driven by transferrence of his supposed father’s hatred for Europe, Britain in particular, and the uncompromised question of “what would Allah do?” or “will this devolve America to a level I can make it socialist?” That’s all there is.
The advisors are all stabbing each other in the back and trying to stay safe from being thrown under the bus.
The person who runs the teleprompter is running the country.
And, IMHO, that would be Valerie Jarrett.

Does anyone expect a cowardly fag to act differently?
Agree....I wasn’t calling your comment drivel....just the article.

Correct, he points out that Obama runs everything past Valerie Jarrett.
And, IMHO, that would be Valerie Jarrett.

I agree 100%. I worry about her and will worry even more about her when she is no longer at the White House.
At least the ex-Presidents are watched and such. Will anybody keep an eye on this woman?
Do they change up stuff after a new President and his administration come in?
I sure hope so because I am very fearful of all that this woman knows and who *Iranian of the year* Jarrett would tell.
She is very, VERY dangerous.
Most likely he has deliberately been vague so that if things don't work out, he can blame someone else for not carrying out "his policies". He IS very good at placing the blame on others.
The article is light on content and tells us what we already know BUT ... now I know what leaks Holder is going after and it is not the national security leaks. Duck and cover, Ulstermann and his/her ilk.
Someone pointed out that there are no Obama-Biden 2012 bumper stickers.
I’m wondering if it will be Obama-Jarrett 2012?
Mr. Obama is not a sound man mentally...there should be some safety valve in our government to use when the problem at the top becomes so apparent as to put the Nation at risk. Someone or some rule must remove Mr. Obama from meddling in areas he knows nothing about....he is not protecting the country nor our Constitution, he is abetting those who want to harm the USA. Mr. Obama is not in charge............
Totally agree and no one is speaking out about it. The media is silent on it, even what little conservative media there is.
Forgot to try out my new tagline...
this became apparent in Woodwards book....and it was in all things, not just being CIC
He’s said it a thousand times. He sends things to a ‘blue ribbon’ taks force, sits on it for months too long and then regurgitates the original plan as if it is his own. He’s done it on foreign policy issues since day one, with the most notable example being his Afghanistan policy...a virtual mirror image of the Bush recommendations. Thats how he deals with things he doesn’t care about and/or wants to take credit for accomplishing.
But he isn’t a very good “Post Colonial” Dictator.
