What an arrogant bunch of ba$stards in the Forest Service Bureaucracy. Some heads in the Forest Service need to roll after January 20th 2013.

As a veteran of the Jarbidge NV shovel brigade I know this task can be done, by hand if necessary.

The FS hates it when the people overcome the artificial obstacles they throw up in an effort to please some special interest that has NO actual interest in the area!

This will be a much larger project than the Jarbige road was, in addition to shovels they are going to need shelter, food, and WATER!

Please post pics of the work in progress, and once complete.
Be sure to carefully document the FS tactics, they WILL attempt to intimidate the citizens into abandoning their noble effort.

Why aren’t the people bringing in some heavy equipment? Is it that they can’t afford it or they’re afraid of the big bad gubmint? I say bring in the dozers and get this ‘Battle of Athens’ on the road!

One would think that 1,000 people armed with shovels would cause far more environmental damage than would a few bucket wheel excavators and bulldozers.

The leftist aka progressive tree huggers are claiming power equipment cannot be used. Some wilderness law prevents modern equipment. They have to use tools around before some 1860 or later date.

I’m with you.

Tombstone oughta go in there with a f’n D-12 Caterpillar ‘dozer and a 10 cu. yd. excavator and be prepared to give the “Rachel Corrie” to any stupid Federal moron that tries to get in the way.

The needs of the many outweigh the grievances of the one.

Then they should rename the line in honor of the departed; mostly as a deterrent to future Federal harassment.

Simply set fire to the forest during the dry season when the wind is brisk.

Tucson has water. They can dig a trench to Tucson and tap into the central canal.

The city should just go ahead and do it anyway and when the Feds show up, have the Sheriff throw their asses in jail.

DEFUND the Forest Service, Fish & Game, EPA and all the other useless brownshirts

Return federal lands to private ownership and the forest service would have nothing to regulate

Legally, there can’t be any “federal” lands, once a state enters the Union.

All states must enter on an equal basis with the original 13.

The federal government cannot impose any conditions on a state for admission, other than those accepted by the original 13.

(When the feds wanted Oklahoma as a state, provided Norman was made state capital, the Supreme Court
said that provision was not constitutional.)

Likewise, the feds cannot admit a new state “provided” that the state permit the feds to retain control of various “federal” preserves—forests, monuments, etc.

Ergo, all the “federal” preserves in the West actually are the property of their respective states. (There can’t legally be any “federal” forests.)

So, Arizona can make the rules for its own forest lands.
