Male or female hitting on the very young IMO is a control freak thingy. They feel inferior to those of their own age group and go for the younger ones as they want to feel superior and control all aspects of the relationship.
But problem is, the chosen young ones come to realize it is they who can control the truly weaker one who sought to dominate.

What use to really drive her nuts was how fast I could snap my fingers “snap snap snap snap” and the rage was always immediate.
