Did anyone watch Jeopardy today and see Chrissy "thrill up my leg" Matthews get waxed?
At one point he repeated a wrong answer at practically a scream level to see if that would get by the judges.
Did he end up below the Wolf Blitzer line, which is the Jeopardy equivalent of baseball’s Mendoza line?
Watching it now and thoroughly enjoying his humiliation. But Gibbs makes me ill as well.

The questions were at about 4th grade level, but Matthews made the other idiots look like Einsteins.

My 10-yr old son answered more questions correctly than Matthews did. Gibbs won only by default from Lizzy O’Leary betting too much, and the first round was absolutely loaded in his favor of questions.

That said, I am an absolute genius (although I often spell it jeanious) at Jeopardy questions, (okay - maybe not on Jenning's level, but...) when I am sitting here in my happy chair at home.
Yet I do wonder how much my forehead would slope and drool run down my chin if I were on camera in front of the country trying to answer those same questions????
I watched it and when my dad called and asked if I was watching, all I could say is “I hope that a$$hole ends up minus” - he didn’t but he sure as heck came across as dumb as dirt.....
I think it was Baghdad Bob who gave an incorrect question and neither Alex nor the judges picked up on it. The question was about baseball’s modern-day Iron Man. Gibbs said it was Cal Ripken. The correct question was “who was Cal Ripken JUNIOR, Alex.”
Eggsackly....I usually get about 85% of the questions....today I was getting all of them....I told my dad the same thing - they’re dumbing down the questions for these a$$holes....

My wife and I enjoyed it immensely, seeing Chrissie getting his arss handed to him. Just a shame that “Baghdad Bob” the looney former Press Secretary was the big winner. But to tell the truth, they were all commie-libbers, so I guess it didn’t matter much WHICH of them won.
Saw it. Mathews peed all over his contestant box and that erupting bimbo in the middle kept kissing herself on the arms between answers until she got a couple wrong, then she tilted her head sideways with that “who me? I couldn’t have possibly got that wrong!” look(she actually waves her arms around talking almost as bad as Pelosi, take cover when she talks). I was actually rooting for Gibbs, he’s a pretty fart smeller.
I remember when Kareem Abdul Jabbar corrected Alex Trebek and he was correct. I was at the FIRST Robotics world championships two weeks ago. KAJ was there and adressed 20,000 future engineers. Smart guy. He just wrote a book about engineers.

You are absolutely right, and Alex completely botched that one.
I used to think Jeopardy was one of the more neutral shows on TV, leaning towards conservative thought, if anything. Boy, have I misread them lately.
He also wrote a book about a black armored unit in WWII.
