Isn’t if funny how the homo-Nazis always scream at us that their “civil rights” should never be put up for a vote, and yet they and their compliant media are constantly taking and pointing to votes (polls) on their “civil rights?”

Not to worry. The typical Obama voter will forget all about this before November, unless it is something they want. If not, they will forget about it when offered the cigarettes to hop on the voting bus.

"It has to be a little troubling that a quarter of Independents say they are less likely to vote for him now. It's also rather strange, considering this Gallup poll from this week that found that 57 percent of Independents think gay marriage should be legal."

Maybe it has something to do with the political pandering and the idea that the guy is a prostitute who will say or do anything to get himself elected.

The results of the California ballot initiative should have been his first clue.

Obama is vapid, ill-educated, and couldn’t pass McDonald’s entrance test.

Of course, this might make one wonder just how he got all those (toy) degrees.

Hmmmm, thinking, thinking.......

Of course. Gays and their enablers are already liberal. He certainly wasn’t going to gain votes.

Anecdotal, I know, but he definitely lost the vote of both of my parents over it. We can’t discuss politics in our house, as we are on opposite sides, so it’s better just to avoid discussing politics specifically than getting into fights about it. I’ve found it best to just keep it in the realm of “they all suck, we should vote them all out.” That’s the tact I’ve been taking for a couple of months, thinking if I could just get them to leave the presidential part blank, rather than voting for 0bama again, at least that would be some progress. However, last night, when she was watching the news, my mom volunteered that “He my vote with that, Dad’s too”. I gave my usual “politicians are terrible, etc.” and she volunteered looking at voting for Ron Paul. Baby steps, I guess.

"60 percent of those polled saying it would have no effect"

But yet, in 30-plus states the "gay marriage" proposal has been defeated handily! Somehow, somewhere, and by somebody, it Does make a difference.

Typical STUPID poll. HOW in the WORLD can one be supportive of the president's stance on ONE hand...and then LESS likely to vote for him on the other?

My guess: Another instance where people don't want to look like bigots. And if truth be told...people are also lying when they say they are not impacted by the vote.

Now I get why he did this now. He gets the $$$...but this issue will be forgotten by election time. Romney certainly won't bring it up...and the sheeple have very short memories.

Sympathy for the gay agenda is highly exaggerated. Let the liberals get dragged into the homosexual nonsense. Republicans have nothing to gain from it, and a lot to lose.

The internal polls Obama's campaign are seeing must be even worse than what is being published today by Rasmussen. That is the only explanation for the calculated flip-flop on this issue by Obama - along with the well-timed hit piece on Romney's purported high school "gay-bashing" incident, which by the way is falling to pieces under scrutiny.

Right now the Obama crowd are frantically rushing to shore up the far-Left base as they know they are rapidly hemorrhaging the independents. They are going to need every work-shy, shiftless, no-account, socialist bum this November.

I have mixed feelings about the 24/7 MSN coverage of Obama’s gay moment. On one hand, there are real issues like the size of government, over-regulation, the deficit, etc. that should be news. On the other hand, everyone knows Barry’s on the dark side which is driving his poll numbers down.

Why is the Democrat Party so obsessed with social issues?

Because they can’t run on economics now, can they?
