Franklin Graham: Obama 'Shaking His Fist' at God

CBNNews.com Friday, May 11, 2012

Franklin Graham, son of evangelist Billy Graham, believes President Barack Obama defied God by changing his stance on gay marriage.

"President Obama has, in my view, shaken his fist at the same God who created and defined marriage," Franklin Graham said in a statement on the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association website.

The president has proclaimed his Christian faith several times, and before taking office said he thought marriage should only be between one man and one woman.

Over the years, Obama gradually changed his tone on the issue, finally stating in an interview with ABC News Wednesday that his stance had fully "evolved" to support same-sex marriage.

"It grieves me that our president would now affirm same-sex marriage, though I believe it grieves God even more," Graham added.

The well-known evangelist and leader of Samaritan's Purse lives in North Carolina, where voters approved a constitutional amendment to define marriage as only the union between one man and one woman.

"While the move to pass amendments defining marriage is relatively new, the definition of marriage is 8,000 years old and was defined not by man, but by God Himself," Graham said.

He added that there's no need for marriage to be defined by by presidents or polls, governors or the media

"This is a sad day for America. May God help us," Graham concluded.

Franklin Graham has criticized President Obama's policies in the past. Earlier this year, he said Obama "seemed to be more concerned about Muslims than Christians"

The president said he changed his mind on gay marriage after talking with friends and family -- even his two daughters.

Romney shakes his fist at God.

These two poseurs, Romney and Obama, are competing for faction votes.

Since Obama wants gay votes, he gives a chip to them that he is personally FOR “gay marriage”.

Since Romney wants gay votes, he gives a chip to them that he is personally FINE with child adoption by gay couples.

Gagging here on the split decision of these two vote trollers, who equally endanger children and the Republic to get the gay vote.

Praying for a miracle. A miracle of Mercy.

We are so fried.

We are All Franklin Graham...just as We are ALL Andrew Breitbart.

Every tower and high-point on the walls of a GOD-fearing, Conservative & Patriotic fortress must be manned and armed to return fire from.

Graham is right, but I don’t think Franklin understands the true depth of the situation as we not only have Obama and Biden endorsing gay marriage, but we have also seen Romney advocate gay adoption, Dick Cheney advocate gay marriage and Ted Olson represent gay marriage in the courtroom.

You are so correct.

Shaking both their fists at God, Zero and Romney are also denying that Natural Rights come from God-—in the USA-—not from sick twisted abused people like Barney Frank or the courts. Our Standard of Right and Wrong is God’s standard—not some idiots-—that is what Supra Positive Law is all about. CAN”T BE ALTERED unless you rewrite the Constitution BY AMENDING IT!!!!!!

They both deny the Supremacy of the Constitution of the US. They are treasonous.

He just might make God's nose glow red and Shake HIS fist back like he did at Sodom and Gomorrah.

I agree with Franklin.
If Romney agrees with gay marriage and gay adoptions HE is doing exactly the same. GOD HELP US

How has the peculiar special interests of perhaps 1% to 21/2% of the population (at most) has metastasized to an issue that has become a major national policy debate and the source of embittering national division.

Well said. But of course America has done so for over a generation — and that made Obama possible.

The president said he changed his mind on gay marriage after talking with friends and family -- even his two daughters.

Oh sure-- the fickle opinions of fawning family and friends always tops the ancient wisdom of the Almighty One. Quite frankly this is pure heresy.

Romney says he is against “gay marriage”, for what it’s worth, as he trolls for evangelical and religious votes, but he is FINE with child adoption to gay couples.

Romney would instantly flip, or flop, against gay adoption of innocent children but these children can’t vote, of course, so he is safe.

This is such a wash between these two, neither who are Christian nor even vaguely conservative.

Thank you GOP-E.

Preferring Peace and Safety, we are now going to vote for our present false god, named Peace and Safety.

We are assuredly going to get neither.

Praying for a miracle. A miracle of Mercy.

Wow—how much better would Rick Santorum be looking right now on this issue if he was the nominee or still in the race at least.

Wow—you’re right. The unionist would look stellar on this single issue, that’s for sure.

As would Newt, Bachman, Perry, Cain, and every other non-unionist conservative.

Howe can Romney claim he is against gay marriage while he advocates gay couples adopting children?

That’s what I wonder! He is having it both ways. Trolling to keep the faction of evangelical votes, he is “against” gay marriage.

Trolling for the faction of gay votes, he is FOR child adoption to gay couples.

Romney is an empty suit morally, IMHO, and he is certainly neither Christian, nor even vaguely conservative, as his record attests in MA.
