Well, based on some FReeper purists, she no longer has a seat on the conservative wagon. I wonder how many of those same purists ridiculed her during her run and called her too conservative, crazy, a nut, etc.

This is not to say I’m supporting Romney. I’m on the fence with him, but that said, I can understand why conservative politicians and conservatives are supporting him as an alternative to Obama.

As with all political animals, they have to play the game rigged for them to play by the Ruling Class if they want to have a spot in the party they still cling to in vain as an ‘opposition party’ to the Democrats.

Neither Bachman, Cain, Santorum, Newt or Perry are “commie-pinkos’ because they endorsed the Ruling Class pick. They know they have to play by the Ruling Class rules if they want to even have a chance to play the game.

The rest of us however, do not have to play the Game.

We do not have to allow ourselves to be boxed into a corner and force-fed a Ruling Class nominee chosen by Obama, the GOP-e and the Media to lose to Obama in November.

And to hedge their bets that the fundamental transformation of the country will continue unabated, if by some miracle Romney actually wins.... nothing changes and everything Obama has already done becomes permanent and endorsed with the Ruling Class sitting in the cat bird seat with their paws on our money.

End game. The Ruling Class oligarchy in league with the MarxoFascists have played their game well, and we as citizens do not have to play their game at all.

Political animals, well... they will still play the game.

But we don’t have to, and I refuse to knuckle under and vote for the Candidate Obama and the enemy chose to run against.

Please, guys... we all know that any elected official or major candidate who wants to stay in Republican politics at the big league levels is going to endorse Mitt Romney. The last time major Republicans opposed the Republican nominee after the convention and got away with it was in 1964, when Romney's father was among many others who opposed Goldwater.

Those of us who are not in elected office have more freedom.

Let's face it: Romney beat us. Gingrich, Santorum, Cain, Perry, and Bachmann supporters all have more in common with each other than any of us have with Romney, and now we have virtually the worst possible Republican candidate because we couldn't unify behind a single candidate. We need to stop beating each other up and trying to work to put the conservative movement back together if, as seems likely, Romney loses this fall.

Let's not bash each other when we're going to have to find a way to work together after November.

A word to the people who opposed Rick Santorum: Xzins is correct when he says that “All of the pro-life conservatives EXCEPT Santorum have now endorsed Romney. Rick, the GOP-e won’t like you if you don’t get with the program and back the Massachusetts $50 babykiller.”

I am all but certain that Santorum will eventually endorse Romney and will be both very shocked and very happy if he doesn't, but as of today, the guy some people liked to attack as a stalking horse for Romney is the last one left **NOT** to endorse him.

Think about that.

And so Aaron, where is Moses and his God? Come let us make ourselves a golden calf and worship at the feet of Ba’al.

And with that request, the Israelites stripped themselves of their gold and ripped the earrings from their daughters ears.

She’s scheduled to be in VA with him and Gov. McDonnell. I suppose she’ll endorse him then.

IIRC, all the Republican candidates, (save for Ron Paul) pledged to endorse and support the eventual nominee but the nominee is not yet certified.

So why the rush to endorsement? Party unity?

We can argue the point that Romney is inevitable until the cows come home, but a lot can happen between now and the convention, when the nomination is certified.

I remain praying for Divine Intervention. Nothing, and I mean, nothing nothing, is set in cement.

I think Newt Gingrich was right to not endorse him in his magnificent speech yesterday.

Others of good intention and good will are free to endorse him for their own reasons, and my guess they're ABO, like Newt strongly suggested.

It's entirely obvious that Romney was NOT the favorite of Sarah Palin or any of his rivals. After all, the majority of his rivals were bona fide Conservatives, but also loyal to the GOP.

We remain a two party country. Romney is the worst possible candidate for Conservatives. This election will be a time of reckoning, provided he's the eventual nominee.

Keep praying. We're months away from *that* convention. Put your trust in Him. We need God to help us save our Republic.

Bachmann has been a great voice in Congress for conservatism, but she has failed to realize right along with everyone else who has put party before conservatism:

TEA partiers have L-O-N-G memories.

Very sorry to hear this. I was hoping there would be a revolt sometime between now and the convention?

Are we really stuck with that guy? Is there nothing that can be done?
