I’m not sure people are trying to discourage donations—I think they are (rightly) pointing out that if the atmosphere here would clear significantly, the donations would go up. The zot-fests are not good fund raisers.
As I’ve said, I don’t know all the reasons for bannings nor do I take for granted that I do know. There are really anti-freepers and leftists here. And they are taking advantage of the discord over Romney.
What’s really bizarre is the zot-dances and zot lists after a long-time freeper gets the boot. Why would somebody celebrate that?
FR is and will remain a pro-life, pro-family, pro-small government site and therefore will NEVER support the abortionist, homosexualist, big government mandate loving liberal/progressive, Mitt Romney.
Donations be damned!! Won’t sell my soul for Romney or the GOP-e who want nothing more than to remove the pro-life, pro-family, pro-gun, pro-borders, pro-liberty even the small government, small debt planks from the Republican party platform and see Romney as their ticket to do so. If “conservatives” give big government liberal/progressive Romney a pass then obviously these principles are not serious issues.
