I totally agree with you. Rove is warning that no one that wants Obama defeated can stay out of this fight. We need every vote to defeat Obama and work to destroy the entire Democrat Party. I will not post my feelings or prediction of the November, 2012 POTUS returns. They will be surprising, just like the 1980 Reagan/Carter POTUS race. Romney needs to run scared every day, but....then again, so does Obama!!!

This story has confused me too. Rove might have been officially neutral, but he certainly wasn’t touting any of the other candidates. We know he is anti-Tea party and the rumors were that he (and all the bush gang) are anti-Perry.
So what gives? Why does he come out with this “analysis” and make his boy look bad?
I actually think Obama is in a good deal of trouble. I think and awful lot of people gave him an awful lot of slack in 2008 and I don’t think he’ll get that again. Plus his base consists of many unreliable voters.
My friend, fear not, the anti-Romney Freeper voters that sit on their hands or vote for Obama are such a tiny group in the overall scheme of things, they have no impact whatsoever. If they did, Romney would not be the nominee.
So....be pragamatic & real, if they won’t join in the fight to defeat Obama, let them wallow in their worthless rants and raves. The reality is, our fellow citizens across the country voted for Romney...this is simply a fact. This being the case, we have two choices: Obama or Romney. Romney was my least favorite GOP candidate, but since he's the nominee, i will vote for him. What are you doing? voting third party? Maybe opting not to vote altogether? Nice try, but Romney isn't our man...he's the GOP nominee. Romney sucks, but he isn't a Marxist and doesn't hate the country. The only meaningful choice against Obama on the GOP side is Romney. I wish this were not the case, but it is our reality! Voting for the third party is a vote frittered away.

OK, one more time; I'll try and explain this so even you can understand it:
We just went through our primary process (you know, that's where we vote for our favorite GOP candidate, where the winner goes on to the general election), and Romney, by virtue of the majority of Americans voting for him, clinched the GOP nomination for POTUS. Ok, still with me? Good.
My first choice was Palin, but she decided not to run. I then became a die-hard Cain supporter, but he decided to drop out. I then became an equally die-hard Newt supporter, but sadly things have not been looking good for him, and just recently decided to drop out. This has left us with Mitt Romney as the GOP candidate. Sometimes our guy (or gal) doesn't win...period. Instead of having a tantrum, many of us decided that in order to remove the Marxist who currently occupies the Oval Office, we would need to vote for Romney. Check the posting history of those of us who've opted to vote for Romney. I'm confident you'll find most of us had a progression in favorites similar to mine.
We're choosing to be adults here and make the most of a difficult situation. I'm taking the advice of Palin, Limbaugh, and Levin: “ABO!”

Any third party will be hard pressed to equal the 19% that Perot did when Clinton won with a plurality in 92. And Perot had massive financial resources - far more than any third party candidate will have in 12.
