Any third party will be hard pressed to equal the 19% that Perot did when Clinton won with a plurality in 92. And Perot had massive financial resources - far more than any third party candidate will have in 12.

‘If he wins, you will celebrate and later you will regret that you campaigned here for him. That’s what’s going on here.”

Hey genius, if Romney loses you'll celebrate and will regret later that you decided to engage in an action that helped obama get reelected.

It is pathetic watching some folks proclaim: "I'm voting third party!", "I'm doing a write -in!" or "I'm not voting...that'll show 'em!" I guarantee you that you'll regret having obama for a 2nd term more than we'll regret Romney. Look at the destruction he's done in three short years with promises of more. But I guess it's more important for you to vote against Romney. Childish and Pathetic.

We will become a Zimbabwe type nation without the exotic jungle.

I'm not convinced of that. We may self divide into free and slave states at some point.

“That’s what they said about Tea Party candidates until they started winning.”

Well said! Some of the ranting here is frustration but it should not give cause to completely destroy our side.

I was really disappointed how Newt underperformed in the south. He couldn’t beat Yankee Santorum in places like Oklahoma and Tennessee,

Rinos chose the blue pill, Conservatives chose the red

We see the machine is the monster, and the America we remember is dead

No popularity contests...but a lifelong war we will endure...

Hey genius, if everyone who holds their nose and votes Romney would vote 3rd party, Obama AND Romney could be defeated.... Especially if all the nose holders joined the brave patriots and donated and CAMPAIGNED 3rd party.

"And Perot had massive financial resources - far more than any third party candidate will have in 12."

Yes, but Perot was a conservative running against a conservative and a liberal. And the liberal won.

In this case, Goode is a conservative running against a liberal and a liberal. He's the only alternative running to the pro-sodomy, pro-abortions, pro-RObamaneycare, anti-gun, socialist candidates.

Ditto. And what I find interesting is for four years nearly every FReeper blasted away at Romney for countless reasons. Well, folks.. we’re convinced. We agree the idea of a Romney presidency is an abhorrent one.

As opposed to elections past, when we donned the clothespins on our noses and cast ballots for marginally acceptable Republicans, we’ve decided Romney personifies that “bridge too far.” And so we’re taking it to heart; Romney’s a finger-in-the-wind politician with no discernible core beliefs.

Sarah Palin or Joe Arpaio might get 19% of the vote.
Goode will be in the Ralph Nader range.

True, yet look at how that party sh*ts on them. Hopefully in time they'll see that very clear writing on the wall their ideas and philosophies are at best tolerated and at worst disdained.

Enjoy living under communism, Romney haters, because thats what you want and thats what you’re going to get.

You address this as if Romney ever had a chance. He's outfunded 10-1, and Obama has a lock on 260+ EVs as early as April.

And Obama hasn't even gotten started.

" If Obama wins, you and others who decided that your self-serving hissy fit was more important that voting for the GOP nominee will hold some responsibility for obamas win, and the destruction of our nation. End of story"

Au Contraire, Mon Ami....

You dumbasses who the GOP-E counts on EVERY ELECTION to vote (R) will CONTINUE to put up the Dole's, McCains, and Romney's because they can count on dumbasses to vote (R) no matter what.

I won't vote for Obama; so don't blame me if he's elected...blame YOURSELF and the other fools who vote (R), no matter who it is (just like the voters that vote Democrat, no matter who it is).

You syncophants just don't get it.....

this is not the America the Founding Fathers gave their blood, sweat, and tears for

Nope. It sure isn't. America is all about entitlements now.

Peggy Noone enlightened me a couple of weeks ago. She expected Mittens would get the nomin because she knew all along how it works. The silver medal winner of the previous nomini process gets the gold medal next time in GOPee. Look forward to the hapless Sanatorium to be the nominee in 2016.

Maybe, maybe not. But I'm the same camp as Franklin Graham who said...

"The moral issues to me are so important as a Christian, for a candidate to actually oppose God’s standard and then to vote for that person, you are compromising, you are joining in with them. So for me, I just have to draw the line in the sand, I’m not going to support a candidate that supports abortion and same-sex marriage, I will not do it. Unfortunately, you know the President is a nice guy, but I cannot vote for him because of these issues that go against God’s law and against His standard.

You vote for sodomy and abortion if you want to. I'm voting for Goode.

When it comes to a theoretical contest between Romney and Obama it's a race to the bottom ~ Democrats and Republicans find nothing in these two to commend them.

I see an historically small presidential vote this time.
