The office of the Los Angeles County coroner has completed its investigation into the death of Andrew Breitbart on March 1, and has confirmed that he died of natural causes, namely heart failure.
Chief Coroner Investigator Craig Harvey told Breitbart News that the final autopsy report would be released next week.
A press release issued by the Department of Coroner (below) notes: "No prescription or illicit drugs were detected. The blood alcohol was .04%," a negligible amount.
The press release concludes: "No significant trauma was present and foul play is not suspected."

RIP Andrew..at least we know now what happened. I will never forget you Andrew
RIP Mr. Breitbart. A whole lot of people miss you.
Our country misses you.
Do we?
Well I would hope that we could trust the coroner’s final results. At least I hope we could trust it
As I suspected all along. Some folks only have one heart attack, and that’s the one that drops them like a stone. RIP Andrew!
For his age, he looked terrible. Fat with reddish skin. I don’t think it was the Bilderbergers, or any tin foil nonsense. People die all the time, and younger than him.
According to his friend Bill Whittle, he had a heart attack last year but wanted to keep it from everyone, so he did have heart issues.
Still saddened by the loss of this patriot!!
No medicine in his system? That’s hard to believe, esp. If he had a prior heart attack.
Is this not a long time to reach this result?
Maybe there were extensive tests beyond the usual heart patient.
I’m not surprised at all. He really looked awful for his age.
Why do I get the feeling this conclusion was preordained?
Not necessarily.
I’m also the type that wouldn’t take necessary medication and let the chips fall where they may.
JUdging from the side effects of a lot of mod med, I’d rather have leeches!
Some people don’t believe in medication...and that can be lethal.
Having reddish skin is not an indicator of bad health. Many people look flushed and most times it is caused by a condition called Roseacea. It’s not at all pleasant.
“Some people dont believe in medication...and that can be lethal.”
And believing in medication can be lethal as well.
A drug prescribed by a doctor is still a drug.
Ummm ... just what is ‘heart failure’ anyway?
Can they be more specific?
And then, what causes heart failure?
Any unknown, little known drugs that can induce that (like muscle relaxers, etc)?
