One chunk of the Republican electorate has proved an incredibly fickle voting bloc, denying party unity while the nominating process dragged on. It’s the same group of conservative voters that went from candidate to candidate, looking for an alternative to former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney.
Now, out of options, it seems that those who identify themselves as tea party supporters are finally coming home to the presumptive nominee.

Our anger right now should not be at the GOP-E and Romney. They were just working to get what they wanted.
Our anger should be toward Palin, Gingrich, DeMint, and even ourselves as Freepers because we did not come up with a plan to rally behind one credible conservative leader early in the process. We are the ones who got played and we need to suck it up and make sure it doesn’t happen again. Taking our ball and going home is the recipe of ideological libertarians and look at their success.
We can take over the GOP. We’ve already got a great start if we don’t fold now. There is one extremely big difference between Obama and Romney even though they both suck. Romney is a wuss not an idealogue. That can be played into the advantage of getting more things passed by a conservative congress. Obama will just be a blocker who continues his hate America agenda.
If Romney sucks it up bad enough in his first term and defies the right, we can throw him out in a primary battle if we learn the right lessons from this primary season. It’s the conservative leaders that screwed us over, not the GOP-E.

Why? Newt hasn't dropped out yet. I don't see obomney garnering enough delegates to win the Republican nomination outright and if he doesn't by the convention then even Sarah Palin or some unknown candidate could step up and be our nominee. I can still be optimistic that neither obomba nor his twin brother romney will be in the White House for another four years. I understand how this stupidity those like me possess really irks you elitists but have patience with us. We're happy believing that there is still some good in the world. We're happy believing that some how, some way someone is going to step up and offer to be our knight in shining armor. Someone much better than me and those like me, with the integrity and intestinal fortitude to do what's right, will take the reins and guide our nation back to a place where all men can live free and unencumbered by pompous asses in the government and their excessive government regulations.

I understand your point of view, but I really don’t see any realistic way to get past the race hustlers, and the general dumbed down nature of what our country has devolved into. I’d like to think there was some hope for us, but I just can’t see it, and frankly I’m ready, willing and able for what is coming.
