It was a fable for our times:
Once upon a time, a nice young man set off from his dad's fiancée's home before the NBA All-Star game to buy some Skittles and Arizona Tea for his stepbrother. Although the lad was seventeen, he looked like a cute twelve-year-old. Along came a burly ex-con racist vigilante who didn't like the idea of a young African-American male walking around his gated community at night. The cop-wannabe stalked the frightened boy, cornered him, and then shot him. But the racist police didn't arrest the murderer. The conscience of the nation was stirred. Protests erupted from coast to coast. The gunning down of young, unarmed black males by white Rambos -- and the occasional "white Hispanic" -- is an all-too-common occurrence in the US of A.
Now the MSM narrative is unraveling, thanks to Al Gore's nifty invention, the internet. The average MSNBC viewer may not have the smarts and curiosity to do a Google search, but other people do. A lot of the searches wind up at the sites of the Orlando Sentinel and the city's Fox affiliate, Channel 35, both of which have provided good coverage.
Now other local papers are running stories about the "complexity" of the case.
We've learned a little more about Trayvon Martin. Since his record of suspensions and his posts and pictures, with tats and grill, from his Myspace and Twitter accounts surfaced on the web, columnists are less likely to enthuse about him, as a WaPo blogger did on March 18:
By all accounts, Trayvon was a good kid[.] ... He had dreams of becoming a pilot. He was good at math. ... Trayvon's English teacher described him "as an A and B student who majored in cheerfulness."
"So what?" the left responds....

A lot of your scenario depends on what happens the next few years. If Obama gets back and fans the flames and cuts off funding for law and order, then things could happen relatively soon. OTOH, if we get milktoast as president, we could have a situation where black frustration builds quickly but is effectively dealt with (I hope).
Guess where most of the vigilant civilian patriot arms are. Yep, in the suburbs, exurbs and rural areas.
Nobama, the left nor the blacks may not give a flying f____ about your life, but they damn sure have a strong affinity toward their own. Any riots will be in Da Hood or urban stos wid da big screens and lickur fo free, because that is where they will be mostly “handled” by gubmint forces and will have significantly less opportunity to meet their maker.
Sometimes some things just jump off the page and say “that is exactly what I was thinking”. Honkification was one of them!
I think we all have to warn our families though....its not enough for my household to be safe....I want my children who live in the larger cities to be safe....one dtr and her husband live very near downtown Portland and mostly, they are in la la land...I hope they catch a clue pretty soon....
To your last point, I'd have to say....."probably so". :)
Still, can't pack a crowd into such vehicles. They'll stay close to home.

Imagine these guys spending one single night alone in the ‘spooky’ deep woods. They’d be running out of there so fast in the morning they’d run out of their $200 sneakers.

My point is that they won’t even leave their own neighborhoods. Historically they haven’t rioted anywhere, but their own communities. There isn’t going to be any race war and talking like there will be only serves Obama who’s desperate to capture the “independent” white women’s vote. That and keeping blacks from staying home are the only reasons we’ve even heard of Trayvon.
I don't. Lots of innocent people always get hurt in these type of riots, much more so than the perps.
First of all, it's not a "gang fight," it's a racially motivated attack.
Second, this is nothing new. In the late 40s and early 50s, when I grew up, we had a term for it.
I know what you're saying, but a large number of Obama supporters and Holder's people ended up in Houston, San Antonio, and other cities in Texas. What the media doesn't report is that virtually every hotel and apartment the government put them up in was totally trashed.

Nothing like hearing a pack of coyotes yelping at about 12 midnight with no other noises around. It even startles me a bit sometimes, and I'm used to it.
Still wonder about the injury on Zimmermans head. It looks to be right on the top or very close to the top of his head. Zimmerman said he was flat on his back with Martin pounding his head into the pavement, so it seems injury would be further down on his head. Could he have banged the top of his head getting out of his vehicle?
LOL! That is what our p[ant manager from hell said thirty five years ago! He was there to “Discipline the men!”
