That might not be, but the way the Democrats decided to pay for all that 'free' healthcare IS inconstitutional! So throw out the whole law and let's start over! There are so many things in that law that have nothing to do with healthcare. There are so many things in that law that give all the power to Sebelius, who cares not for the public. Our Government has usurped power not accorded to them. We MUST get the Government to back off. Let us sink or swim on our own power. THAT is the American Dream! Work hard to get ahead. Government: lay off!!

PS-I am so embarrassed that a member of SCOTUS speaks like this. How old is she anyway? The immaturity of the Leftists is breathtaking. How far we have fallen! How could any Republicans vote to confirm her to the SCOTUS??

I’m sensing “birth of a nickname” for the esteemed justice Boatload Kagen. Or, pantload.

Because those boatloads of money were...extorted?

Because for the first time Congress forced a purchase on the people?

Rush is right. These people live in a bubble. We’ve got some progressive relatives in Chicago- DePaul Law grads- who think this way.

Extermination begins when? Argue self defense afterward, even if they are just ignorant, ignorance is not a defense for the horrors and poverty they are bringing on your children.

Because it is not your money?
Your are given that money by the people to run the Federal Government and oversee the safety and security of the nation, borders, military etc.
The Federal Government was never meant to be our mommy and daddy.

Proof that this loser Kagan is not qualified to be a Surpreme Court Judge! Liberalism really is a mental disorder!

Once a government is able to either force you to buy something or to sell something with the exception in some very unusual circumstances, and to top it off have some one at the level of the Supreme Court agree with it, this spells the final end of freedom as we know it and hello to socialism and total government control. It is enough for the founders of this once Great Nation to turn over in their graves.

These five Republicans voted to put her on the Court:

Susan Collins (ME)
Lindsey Graham (SC)
Richard Lugar (IN)
Olympia Snowe (ME)
Judd Gregg (NH)

Senate Votes to Confirm Kagan

Can there be any more stark evidence this woman(-/+) should`ve recused from this matter? “She” isn`t even making pretenses about impartiality.

"I cannot undertake to lay my finger on that article of the Constitution which granted a right to Congress of expending, on the objects of benevolence, the money of their constituents."
James Madison

-----

To lay, with one hand, the power of the government on the property of the citizen, and with the other to bestow it upon favored individuals to aid private enterprises and build up private fortunes, is none the less robbery because it is done under the form of law and is called taxation. This is not legislation. It is a decree under legislative forms.
Citizen's Savings & Loan Assn v. Topeka, 20 Wall (87 US) 655, 664 (1874)

Wonder if Kagan got her license to practice law at the same Kinko's that Barry's BC came from.

If the SCOTUS observers and tea leaf readers are correct, this law will be found unconstitutional in June's announcement. If that's the case, Obama’s attempt to pack the court with his Solicitor General who worked on the law and was directly involved with it, seems to have backfired. She doesn't seem to get the fact that the “boatloads” of money this bill would have sent to the states is not the federal government's money. It belongs to the taxpayers. The elite liberals are so isolated from the real world that they begin to believe their own spin.
