...do you really, really think there’s very little difference between Romney and Obama?

Yes.

So what are you going to do, stay home and pout if your choice will not the nominee, vote for a third party member or stay home? Doug Giles is correct. ABO

And btw my original choice was Herman Cain, but I voted for Rick Santorum. If he gets the nomination I will vote for him in the general election. If not I will hold my nose and vote for Romney

Ricky is a joke! I can't stand him.. I hate Mitt even more.. It is a sad state when those are the choices!!!

I agree. People are calling for Newt to drop out. Well, Santorum had Romney ALL TO HIMSELF in Michigan, Ohio, Illinois and Puerto Rico and got his butt kicked in all of them. We need Newt, and even Kook-Daddy, to stay in the race, to give voters more choices. Right now, polls show that if Newt did drop out, Santorum and RINO-Rom would split his vote. We need to block RINO-Rom from getting 1144 Delegates, so we can have an “Open” Convention.

TAKE IT TO TAMPA!!! RYAN/RUBIO 2012

When did I say that? I’m saying it’s not over yet, but I get the feeling there are plenty of Newt supporters out there who prefer Romney to Santorum.

The voters have been deciding and this is where we are. There could have been other, better, candidates in this race but they chose not to run. Rick Perry was 90% conservative and started out on top. He would have been a stark contrast to obama. He was trashed mercilessly around here.

And the only difference I see between the Mormon and the Muslim is Romney seems a tad pale standing next to Maobama.
But I cannot vote for a man who supported Gay Marriage in
his State-Who presented a State model for ObamaCare—Who has said he will not change the fornicators Repeal of DADT. Who
is reliant upon the GOP establishment while preying on the idea that only Romney is not an insider? I cannot vote for a man who shares Obama’s views on gun control.

I have seen and heard this type of statement a thousand times the past month. It's kind of like telling your opponent you plan to surrender eventually.

I've read here (and elsewhere) an interesting idea which could be the needed compromise to satisfy those (like me) who are Conservative and will not vote against almost all of our core principles in favor of another terrible GOP candidate; An early announcement of a ticket, Santorum/Gingrich.

Exactly ... but a certain class of self-important people just can't stand that!

“I can’t stand Romney.... But....I, for one, will certainly NOT be sitting home pouting this election day, that’s for sure.”

Santorum walked-backed his incredibly reckless comment after it received so much heat and basicaly said the same thing as you, that he would vote for Romney if Romney is the nominee.

Those on the Right who are dead set about staying at home in November or voting third party do not understand how truly poisonous Obama is, and they do not believe that there are socialist behind Obama that have an agenda to radically change this country into a socialist utopia. Obama’s 8-years in office is their window. We must close this window. America’s survival counts on it.

Good for you. I'm sick of the whining from people who say they won't vote for Romney if he's nominated. I don't care for him, but he doesn't hate his country and that's enough of a difference for me.

If Newt had said the EXACT SAME THING this goofus and all the other Newt-ified Santorum haters would be saying that it was really being tough and virile and just the qualities we need in a Republican candidate.

Double-standards forever! They’re so much fun.

Your analysis is delusional.
Newt got 8 to 10 % in each of those states just enough to help Mittens.
If Newt was gone then Rick would have beaten The trainwreck .most of these states were Open primaries were the Dems are
Setting us up for a massive Mittens defeat .
LA was a closed primary .

Each election we voters get to choose either:

1. Demonrat/Progressive/Socialist: Massive Government, out of control spending, total control over all aspects of our lives, eventual tyranny.

2. RINO Republican: Better financed Massive Government, out of control spending, total control over all aspects of our lives, eventual tyranny.

The silly thing is, you're supposedly voting for the first if you don't vote for the second, but they are the SAME animal!

This is the game that's been played on voters every election since Ronald Reagan's presidency came to a close.

You want change? Real change? Vote for an actual reformer, not a progressive dressed up to look like one.

Unfortunately, to have an honest choice between socialism and a Constitutional Republic, we voters need an option #3.

This primary is more evidence that our two party system died long ago and has merged into a socialism v socialism-lite, 1.5 party system.

The Republican party has embraced ideological suicide soon to be followed by some form of extermination.

I agree with Newt about this primary’s outcome- Newt doesn’t have the juice to get to 1144, neither does Santorum, and it’s gonna be Romney or an open convention. And then, I have no idea. But I prefer an open convention to Romney. We just might get Palin as a result.

Very well said. I'm afraid this election is going to be all about damage control. If it's Obama vs Romney, who will do less damage to the country?

Still, it's unbelievable that it will probably come down to that.
