I suggested a while ago that Palin make the call and that we all support who she endorses, but:
a) I was roundly criticized for even making such a suggestion and
b) Palin never stepped up and made an out-and-out endorsement. (And she would have had to do so early enough to matter.)
Romney figured we would be unable to unite, and he was right.
For the record, I supported:
Perry until he became non-viable.
Gingrich until his surge ended.
Most recently, Santorum.
But now I believe Santorum has failed his own test and I'm back in the Gingrich camp.
Not that it matters much.
