Iran Sends 15,000 Troops to Syria to Assist in Crackdown on Syrian Civilians
Prominent Syrian lawmaker says the commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard's elite Quds Force has recently arrived in the country to help manage Assad's regime brutal suppression of a 11-month-long popular unrest.

I think you severely over estimate. I think you would see a lot of “Shoot the indians? Who me, pale face?”
Antimullah had “Iran source confirmed” reports of some 20,000 Islamic Iran suppression forces of various kinds inside Syria about one year ago. They included some Ghods forces but consisted mainly of Revolutionary Guards and Bassijis.
The whole Ghods force consists of some 15,000 trained para-military members. I cannot imagine the total force going into Syria UNLESS:
a) They are taking themselves out of Iran to not be there if/when Israel attacks - as stronly rumored.
b) They are putting themselves within retaliation strike distance (and being safer in Syria than in Iran).
c) They are also placing themselves within striking distance of argets in Iraq.
d) Also as interference with any resupply in North West Saudi Arabia for Israeli aircraft, currently given the green light by Saudis.
Self-preservation is high on the list of reasons for moving out of Iran.
Don’t worry, the Hildabeast will crush Assad with her big mouth.
