The Obama administration is willing to work with Catholic universities, hospitals and other church-affiliated employers to implement a new policy that requires health insurers to offer birth control coverage, a top adviser to the president's re-election campaign said on Tuesday...Over the weekend, Catholic clergy across the country called for congregations to protest the rule and pressure Obama to back down.
"To force American citizens to choose between violating their consciences and forgoing their healthcare is literally unconscionable," said Cardinal-designate Timothy Dolan, archbishop of New York and president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, in a statement last month.
Jim Towey, president of Ave Maria University in Florida, who also served in the administration of President George W. Bush, said Tuesday he would fight the provision using "all lawful means at our disposal."
"Our non-Catholic employees and students understand fully that the University must adhere to Catholic teaching and they do not expect us to provide such services," he said in a statement.

Krauthammer said that his liberal friend Mark Shields (liberal Catholic)went ballistic over Obama and his stand on this issue.

Most Catholic’s in my opinion are CINO’s...and vote Socialist.
Be that as it may: the point is that the POTUS (INO) is trying to insinuate his Muslim/communist/liberal/life-sucking beliefs into ever aspect of American society.
OVER MY DEAD BODY!!!
I have a simple philosophy and it is that I’ll take care of my kids, and if you can’t take care of yours, then don’t have any. The concept is not overly difficult, and it should not should be religious or political. That’s the way I see it.
Take care of your own or don’t have any.
Meant to add to my post above...and do not expect others to take care of your kids. This is black and white personal responsibility to me. Do not have kids if you can’t afford them.
Agree..........
Thanks, OO!!

The Obama administration is willing to work with Catholic universities, hospitals and other church-affiliated employers...Zero's playing a little game we all like to call extortion. He will back down (which is what he intended to do) in order to solidify his Catholic voter support in November.
The Administration argument that Catholics must submit because they receive government money reveals the goal of socialism. Under Obamas desired version of socialism, all entities would receive government money, thereby giving him dictatorial powers over everything.
Just another little surprise buried in that 40 gazillion page piece of legislation that Congress couldn’t be bothered to read.
It’s Pandoras Box. He should never have opened it. No matter what he does or says in the future he cannot walk back what he has already done. No matter what he does in the future, this will be a constant black cloud hanging over him.
More arrogance from the Kenyan.
Franciscan University of Steubenville is another Catholic school that’s going to have to decide what it’s going to do. The way I see it, they have 3 choices: (1) Follow the federal law, (2) defy the government, or (3) close. They should choose option (2) until the situation becomes untenable, then close. Choosing option (1) negates the purpose of such an institution. Why exist at all in that case?
And don’t forget, liberals refer to the “Abortion pill” as “birth control”
I just heard a ‘conservative’ moron radio host reading from a press release, that
a university now stocks birth control pills in a vending machine.
But he did not make the connection that the ‘plan b’ pills in those vending
machine were Abortifactants.
If ‘plan b’ abortions can be called birth control, Catholics - get ready to be forced to fund that under ObamaCare.
