They may revoke Obama’s Nobel

Will an investigation of the Nobel Peace Prize committee lead to a revocation of President Obama’s Nobel Peace Prize of 2009? That is a good question as a formal inquiry has begun into the way the committee chooses its winners. The board of inquiry does have the authority to revoke Obama’s award, although that is unlikely, the Associated Press reported.

The Peace Prize is awarded by a group in Norway. Swedish committees decide the other prizes. The Norwegians have drifted from the original intent of the Peace Prize.

Fredrik Heffermehl, a prominent researcher and critic of the selection process, told The Associated Press on Wednesday that “Nobel called it a prize for the champions of peace. And it’s indisputable that he had in mind the peace movement, i.e. the active development of international law and institutions, a new global order where nations safely can drop national armaments.”

Why would they do that? He was given it because

1. He's black
2. He's a democrat
3. He reads well from a teleprompter

The Nobel Peace Prize became a joke when it was awarded to a narcissist community organizer because he was Black and because the euro-libs “thought” he might do great things.

It’s funny you mentioned that. I was thinking about it when I posted, because that was the moment I, personally, lost respect for the award. The obama award was when they jumped the shark for even those not really paying attention. :-)

I agree. Let Bambi's "prize" stand along with the murderous Arafat's "prize".

Anyone remember Arafat? The Pali leader who called an intifada against Israel because he was only offered some 97% of his demands at the Camp David accords and later was awarded a Nobel Peace Prize for simply attending the meeting?

Because he didn't get some 3% of his demands, Arafat immediately called for all Palis to kill as many Israel citizens as possible. Am I the only one who remembers the daily horrific bombings of buses, cafes, weddings, marketplaces, etc. in Israel? Israel built a big a## wall and that genocide stopped. Unfortunately for the palis, so did their jobs. So sad - too bad. Disclaimer: I am not Jewish.

So according to the Nobel Committee, I should be awarded the Peace Prize because I also would like to see peace on Earth, and have a plan to insure it (trust, but verify). Screw them and their stupid peace prize. It often makes me wonder if the Nobel Committee has an agenda for their other categories of prizes.

And while I'm on topic and ranting:
1. There is no such thing as a palistinian (look up the history), other than the United Nations partition that called the entire area Trans-Jordan and with one being Palestine, which included Israel. Technically, Israelis are palistinians:
2. After many wars against the Muslim hoards of many countries, Israel has been very accomodating;
3. There are NO refugee camps. The Palis have TOWNS in Gaza.
4. Israel gave the Palis the Gaza. What did the Palis do? They immediately destroyed the entire Israeli infra-structure which made their lives worse. They are gutter people who like many muslims think it's better to destroy than to build.

Now we have Iran. Islam is the worse scourge on humanity since the Nazi party. Even the Soviets believed in MAD - don't think the Islamists care. They are a death cult and will never change.
