This is about winning an election, not debates. FYI, if we nominate Newt, we can never talk about family values or the sanctity of marriage again.

I am not sure that is accurate but if it is than we will focus always on economy and jobs. That gets the voters out in droves.

I guess it hasn’t dawned on you that debates have absolutely dominated this election cycle. And they will continue to do so. This genie is out of the bottle and cannot be put back in.

Those in the “debates don’t really matter meme” are fighting the last war. Everybody who “fights the last war” loses the current war.

Oh really? Since Newt is quite open to talking about it and has indicated he made mistakes in his earlier life. And since he has asked for forgiveness (to a Catholic it means went to confession, did his penitents and received absolution). His wife and family have accepted him and a goodly percentage of America has done the same, why can't we talk about it?

There isn’t a single canidate that will give us that. Newt is tainted, and Rick’s wife is almost as bad.

IF we assume both have repented, and changed their ways, so be it. I am inclined to believe them. But it is a lot of ammo to hand the other side out of the gate.

Right, so we better elect Paul or Romney instead.

Don't be a drama queen. We need some fixin to this country so family values and the sanctity of marriage has a place to even live!!! Right now, I dare say those two bullet points are low on the totem pole.
