Oh, I totally agree. A coach can only do so much when so many of your top players are sidelined with injuries. With so many of our beasts back up and on the field, they’re playing to win.

“I hate any NY professional sports team by default.”

The Jets are from NY; the Giants are from NJ!

(Years ago the had “Giants” on their helmets instead of the “NY”; too bad they got rid of that.

When World Cup soccer games were played in Giants Stadium in 1994, they were broadcast around the world as being played in NY...

No offense to our Packer fans, but that’s funny!

This Giants@49ers NFC TITLE game should be a good one...

Yes, I look forward to it.

....Well look for some revenge on the part of the Pats, should the Giants get pass the 49ers. One Tom Brady has NOT forgotten.

The Pats can keep it up. They have been preparing for it.

A little perspective on the last playoff game between the Giants and 49ers:

Jan. 5, 2003: 49ers 39, Giants 38. The 49ers rallied from a 24-point deficit for the second-biggest comeback in playoff history. Sealing the victory were Tai Streets' 13-yard touchdown pass from Jeff Garcia and a botched snap on a Giants field-goal attempt.

It took nine years and nine days before the 49ers posted another playoff victory since that last one over the Giants. That win came Saturday over the Saints, in absurdly dramatic fashion, as well.

The Packers were the most overated team in the NFL.

There are two big “ifs” here. If the Giants get past SF, they will most likely be stopped by NE Pats, giving the Giants a RUDE awakening.

Giants 37 Packers 20

The hard rock of reality. I would not be suprised to see them take the whole enchilada.

You confirmed what I thought was the case. The lose to Kansas City showed a lot of weak points of Green Bay.

>>The hard rock of reality<<

Crow always tastes good this time of the day.

Who the heck was that team in green and yellow? It was like a ballet team made up of people who soaked their hands in lard.

When I saw some of the Giants go down tonight, and come next weekend, if the 49ers bang up a few more Giants, could these same Giants come up to a much stronger Pats team come SB time if they survive the next game, having survived being banged up by SF?

These Pats in the playoffs are not the same Pats of the regular season.

The G-men are on a hot streak now and they have been dominant for the last four games. They are peaking at the right time just like they did in 2008 and like the Packers did last year. They look better than anybody of the final four and I would not be suprised to see them crush the Patriots in the Super Bowl.

Hot streak as of right now. Next weekend they are going to have their hands full and if they get pass SF, they will not survive NE.

Well they got right back up and got back in game. I would not crow too much about beating Denver or the Ravens next week. The AFC is becoming the weaker conference as these things cycle and the offense of Denver and Baltimore are predictable and easy to stop even by average defenses. The Pats will get a rude awakening just like the Steelers did last year as the NFC now has the edge in physical dominance.
