I enjoyed your pre-debate analysis and you were actually spot on. Congratulations.

I have to say, at his high points, Newt was great last night.

I wasn’t deriding Perry... that is what he said, and I think he really made a good point... he actually humbly said, I am at a new level even though he gets no respect and he’s a strong Christian, just like Tebow... and I was just telling her what Perry said..

It was a dumb analogy on Perry's part though, because an Iowa radio host had been already been pushing the idea that Rick Santorum would be the Tim Tebow of the primaries before Perry tried to claim it.

Quite frankly, the Santorum comparison makes more sense because he truly is an underdog. Perry has $17 million and a large organization. He is not an underdog.

For last debate only top contenders should have been there. At least it does show; that ANY one of them is better than Obama; but of course, Repubs don’t just ‘any’one on ticket.

I was hoping they'd drop Huntsman and Santorum like the ABC debate dropped Huntsman, and I had heard that some of the debates were already looking at dropping the bottom 3-4 candidates. It's disappointing because we've reached a point where some candidates seem only intent on dragging others down. I think it's great to have as much discussion as possible, but with all of these candidates, there isn't time to dig into the meat of the issue, and some of the candidates seem only in it to further their careers.

And I'm sick of the 30 second soundbites. I want debates like the Cain/Gingrich debate.

Oh? Forgot about that.

When will the Perry people send me my check? This is like the third time now they’ve taken my advice and ran with it, and I guess he was the winner since he was the first to make the “Tebow” reference.

Newt and Romney had a pact last night. Apparentally, there is some truth to that Rasmussen poll that came out yesterday. And how many complements is Gingrich allowed to deliver to Romney before he is called out on it?

This is sad. In a few years, this place will be advocating for some kind of Government-run Health care and amnesty program all because some (R) got into office to make the crappy ideas Democrats come up with better. The Tea Party has a chance to nominate one of their own, and they’re laying a major egg.

She DESTROYED Ron Paul tonight on Foreign Policy. Not that that is difficult to do, but did so effectively.

She didn't, and you know why? Because Ron Paul's fans love his foreign policy. She's not going to cause any of Paul's followers to question his views, because they are drawn to him precisely because of those views.

People have mentioned her claims that the Gardasil stuff causes mental retardation as an example of her ridiculous attacks, but you know what was truly retarded? Her missing the bigger picture. Gardasil wasn't about a single $5,000 donation, or the tens of thousands that Merck has donated to Perry over the years or somebody claiming their daughter became mentally retarded as a result of the Merck vaccine. It was about the fact that Perry's good friend, former legal adviser and chief of staff Mike Toomey was hired by Merck to lobby Perry, and about Perry signing the Executive Order that stood to make Toomey's bosses a lot of money. It played right into the crony capitalism problems that Sarah Palin talks about - Perry's good buddy goes off to a company that hires him to lobby Perry and then benefits from Perry signing an Executive Order.

It was handed to Bachmann on a silver platter and she threw it away in favor of somebody's daughter's friends's cousin becoming mentally retarded.

I really liked Bachmann, but I can't say that anymore, because right now there are two enemies that the Republicans face: Romney and Obama. Romney is everything she claims to hate, and she has much more in common with Gingrich, yet you would think that she considers Gingrich to be much worse than Romney.

That tells me that either she's out to help Romney or she is simply going to attack whoever the frontrunner is.

Not this sh*t again.

Okay ONE more time, since you didn’t figure it out the first time in regards to the VA. That was from February of this year. The article relates that she was working on a plan where the DEBT CEILING didn’t have to be raised. That’s a good thing, right? Well, if you have only $172 of revenue coming into the Federal Government per month and you don’t raise the debt ceiling, the cuts have to come from somewhere. What this article fails to state is that the EPA and other Departments got far, far, deeper reaching cuts. And the VA, like any other government organization, has it’s share of fraud, waste, and abuse. But the article was written with a biased point of view to stir emotion of which you apparentally bought and want others to buy as well.

Running for President is a full time job. 80% of the votes in Congress are a joke. Vote to name a Post Office? She’s been there for the votes that have mattered and on the correct side, and has utilized a lot of time in those important votes to get the message out there. (Debt Ceiling, Gov Shutdown, Healthcare, etc)

Ths subsidies issue HAS been explained. Go call Levin for a detailed explanation since he gave it back in May. His answer to you will probably be the same: WHO CARES?

What? Nothing about the letter she wrote on behalf of some scumbag to get a pardon? Uh oh, looks like you’re game is falling.

For the Umpteenth time, she did not attack Sarah Palin. Anybody with a brain knows that Ed Rollins went rogue. And after that, he was closeted up like a gnome until the day he quit the campaign and started going rogue on Bachmann. What did Rollins say “Palin is not a serious candidate and/or shouldn’t be taken seriously”? You do realize that after Sarah made the decision NOT to run, there were several Palin FReepers here that were advocating the same thing Rollins said because they felt betrayed by her decision not to run when they believed she would?

She has gone after Perry and Newt’s record and actions. Pointing that out is not an attack. Calling it an “attack” is a way to make your guy look like their some invincible superhero who can never be challenged.

I also already called you out on your hyprocrisy for Bachmann’s comments to Cain’s 9-9-9 as 6-6-6. You should agree with this comment based on everything you wrote about 9-9-9 and empowerment zones being unconstitutional, but you refuse to give her even that credit, which shows you really have a personal dislike for this woman that has NOTHING to do with issues on policy.

Yeah, Trump said she mentioned him about being her VP. Yeah, I’ll take Trump at his word /sarc. And even if she said that, how come you want people to actually believe she means that and is not just stroking the ego, like when Newt on NUMEROUS occassions has said he admires Romney and would consider him for the VP slot.

Newt won the debate early in my opinion when he had the guts to call Barry Hussein Soetoro exactly what he is... “ A Saul Alinsky radical”.

Newt calls obama a Saul Alinsky radical!

For that, he won the debate immediately in my opinion! Newt seems to be the only one that is willing to call him what he is and go after him. Bachman does a little, but she’s not going to win, that’s a given. I sure wish Sarah would have run, she has the guts to go after the Marxist in chief too.

No, it won’t effect the hardcore Paul supporters. But there is NO way he should be anywhere near 20% in the Iowa Caucus. 10% maybe, but 20% is an incredibly high and dangerous number for someone who believes its okay for Iran to pursue nukes.

She did bring up the crony capitalism on gardasil. When Palin mentioned it on Greta, she cited Bachmann for rightfully going after Perry about it.

In a primary, you have to fight for votes that are apart of your constintuence. Romney has 20-25% of Establishment Republicans. Highly unlikely that anyone except for Huntsman would get those kind of voters in the primary. People supporting Romney are not going to support a conservative. Michele has to go for the voters that align with her. The polls say that is Perry, Gingrich, Santorum, and herself.

Santorum has sat back and really not attacked anyone or anything in awhile. And where has that gotten him? He said last night he’s waiting on “the groundswell of support from the people” to push him into contention. It hasn’t yet for the last 6 months.

Then there’s Bachmann. People don’t know it, but they’ve been promoting a lot of sexist comments here. They’d rather have the woman sit back, look pretty, be a cheerleader, and go nowhere in the polls like the “good little lady that she is”. She is treated differently and not taken seriously by the other candidates. Did you notice Saturday night, not one person in the “what have you learned from another candidate” segment mentioned anything about her? 3 guys mentioned Ron Paul, but not Michelle. She has been blacklisted.

Her major flaw in this campaign was they waited FAR too long to transfer from talking points to more substantive issues. When Rick Perry entered the race, she had a short time to refine the message before her early supporters jumped ship to the guy with more executive experience. It left her with no choice but to try to get those supporters back by attacking Perry. It worked, but as we saw, they didn’t come back, they went on to Cain. And so Cain became the new target, but once again, when he fell, they moved onto Gingrich.

I’m tired of the whole “Michele is a stalking horse” cr*p. Last night, seems nobody noticed that Romney and Newt formed a pact to call a truce. They did that on purpose because both saw their poll numbers tank and they want to try to gain separation from the field again. They were CLEARLY working together, and Newt couldn’t stop praising Romney both during and after the debate.

Not to mention she has been so busy campaigning she wasnt even there to vote on the Payroll tax before congress on Dec 13th and sure she missed most of the votes on this urgent issue. OH NO! the farm issue has not been fully answered and ask the VFW, Military.Com what the vets thought of her proposal to cut disabled veterans benefits..that were earned. Facts are facts and Yes, her campaign mgr attacked Palin and she has attacked Cain, Perry, Newt and Romney (just a tad) she is a shrill, she wont be president and you can bet on that.

“She’s doing Mitt’s dirty work. They must have a pact - take out Newt, Perry and Paul and you’ll be my VP. Some “core” convictions.”

I have come somewhat to the same conclusion after tonight’s debate. I would say Bachmann is doing the dirty work of the RINO establishment. The comments by the usual RINOS after the debate saying how well she did is related to her persistent attacks on Newt, not on any big policy statement. So yes IMHO she is part of the establishment.

I have to say Go Newt and the hell with the RINO establishment.

I watch that show, it’s great.

Have you seen “Boss” on Starz, starring Kelsey Grammer?

It’s astounding that it is on, it’s so brutally un PC.
