Cloaked in carbon credits, Newt Gingrich is probably biding his time until he is President to force all Americans to pay for the supposed environmental damages caused by the global warming myth.

Once this individual mandate is in place, Newt could become the GOP's version of an Al Gore who tried to profit from this fake junk science, and I fully expect Newt to then direct a failed blockbuster movie about polar bears eating people in Miami, Florida, shortly after he leaves the presidency. This could help position Newt to profit handsomely from future investments if he decides on crusading for green energy, like Al Gore has.

Freepers helped exposed Al Gore for the crony Big Government climate change capitalist that he was.

Now it is time for Freepers to expose Newt Gingrich for the crony Big Government climate change capitalist that he probably fancies himself to be.

Newt supports the idea that Man made global warming is real.

He is a progressive republican. If elected though I doubt his book can be released can it? Unless all the proceeds to to someone else.

Right on about, Mitt. RINO politicians seem to have no trouble exploiting taxpayers. Whether it’s pork spending, individual mandates, or higher taxes, these politicians always hurt the people that voted them into political office in the first place. Only by NOT VOTING for RINOs will Americans have a fighting chance to survive the fiscal bankruptcy we all find ourselves in.

That might be true, and I believe that the fact that he supported government intervention to minimize the perceived consequences of climate change shows his Al Gore-like intent.

Newt isn’t no dummy, and his voraciousness for the high life is widely known. He has to understand that if he can become the Carbon Credit King while as President he will be able to become the first Green Energy Billionaire after he leaves office, something Al Gore frantically desires, but has failed to do.

As a former environmental history professor, Newt has carbon tax credits coursing through his blood, and soon into his back wallet, at the expense of the taxpayers around the world.

Newt Gingrich knows what he is talking about. I trust his judgement. You are just helping the liberals with your sniping.

Gosh, you think that I never read Free Republic prior to my sign on date?

If your mentality is that newbies are somehow inferior, then anybody who joins Free Republic nowadays is automatically damned, huh?

Let’s see. You joined in 2005, so applying your flawed logic, then those Freepers who joined before you must consider anything you say irrelevant as well.

I’ll be reading Free Republic long after you leave, my friend.

Oh, I think you read it but I still don’t think you’re a Conservative, I think you’re a troll.

Newt Gingrich knows what he is talking about. I trust his judgement.

I trust NO politician. We should always be skeptical of our so called leaders.

Newt was and still IS absolutely wrong about man-made global warming. It is absolutely astounding that he isn't hammered harder on this issue. AGW is the singular issue that will allow theft on a scale never before seen in human history. On top of that, implementing policies to fight AGW will destroy our standard of living and kill millions of humans.

I trust Professor Richard Lindzen of MIT on the matter of man-made global warming. He is considered one of the worlds most respected atmospheric scientists. He has had death threats because he isn't afraid to speak the truth about AGW.

In recent interviews, I heard with my own ears, Newt painfully try to sound "changed" on some aspects of AGW. It is obvious to me, that he will take a very hard left position on AGW if elected. Of that, I have no doubt.

For all the good Newt speaks, he has issues that would be absolutely horrible for our Liberties, for our wallets and limited government.

I pray everyday for a true believer in limited government to excite the people and come to the forefront.

Thanks for starting this thread. I thought that Newt had backed away from Global Warming, but after reading the article it makes one wonder about his motives.
