Putin having a bit of fun?
Have a gut feeling it’s coming here in Nov. 2012.
fyi pong
Putting down his opposition may be fun to Putin. But I would guess he’s disappointed that all his bare chested photo-ops didn’t get him the results he thought they would.
Big Sis at DHS is taking notes.
I quite agree.
The authorities are at a loss and Putin’s magic, which always helped United Russia before is gone.
Russia is in a new era and Russians have stopped being afraid, submissive and docile.
It will take more than police and elite Interior Ministry OMON internal troops to browbeat them into line.
No one is in awe of Vladimir Putin anymore. I think the difference is clear and there is widespread dislike of him.
And without a rebound in his popularity, he will find it very hard to get things done in a third term as President. Boris Yeltsin suffered that fate and Putin was lucky because the Russian economic rebound lasted as long as it did.
And slowing economic performance and massive government corruption has soured Russians’ trust in their leaders.

You hold Poll upside down. Clearly I am majority vinner!
His popularity eroded to communist and nationalists benefit.
Popularity of communists went from, 10% to 20%.

Wrong. Reuters had a pretty correct coverage about this election. They have asked numerous communist voters why did they vote communist and voters claimed they hate commies as much as UR but voted this way to balance lawmakers or did it to bring UR some butthurt giving a ridiculous party an upper hand.
I talked to some Russians who are pretty conservative folks to me and all of them told they voted communist for a reasons above.
True. I did not said that Russians started LIKING communists.
Just that popularity of KPRF have risen.
