Does he need write-in delegates too? It might not do him any good to be on the ballot if there are no delegates running as “Committed to Newt Gingrich.”
Now there may be delegates running as “Uncommitted” that pledge to support Gingrich if he wins the state primary or the congressional district. However this indicates Gingrich is not serious about running for President.
Just a minute here. Aren’t you from the crowd that keeps saying write in votes are a waste of time. Of course, that’s in the context of writing in a conservative candidate’s name if ther GOP picks a RINO standard bearer.
