One thing is clear: the Democrats cannot allow the election to be a referendum on Obama. They have to find a way to change the subject and fast.

I vividly remember the democrats' advertisements slamming congresscritters and senators because "they voted with George Bush". WHen have you seen an ad against a democrat declaring "you voted with Barrack Obama" [aka President poverty]

The OHIO issue (Issue 2) blew up in Kasich’s face because (unlike Walker) he insisted on bringing in police and firefighters.

The unions poured money into ads scaring Ohioans into thinking that if Issue 2 passed their houses would burn while they were being robbed in their bedrooms because there would be no more cops and firefighters.

There is currently a signature campaign underway to get “Right to Work” on the ballot for next November in Ohio. If Kasich can’t get the job done right, us Buckeyes will have to do it for him.

Ohio 'rats shot themselves in the foot by defeating Issue 2. Many layoffs are sure to follow, when the state was actually beginning to make some headway economically.

The longer the jobless recession lasts around here, the worse for obama.
