No Toaster For Herman Cain
Pruden Politics ^ | November 11 2011 | Wesley Pruden

Posted on 11/11/2011 2:55:18 AM PST by Brian Allen

The great media toaster isn’t broken, exactly, but it doesn’t work like it once did. By all accounts, Herman Cain should be toast now, served hot, a bit scorched around the edges and left unbuttered. But try as they might, his tormentors have not yet had him for breakfast.

The tormentors, journalists, lawyers and an assortment of ladies who appear to have been around the block a few times, have so far failed to destroy him and thus his candidacy. They still have to come up with lower-mileage ladies to make the accusations stick with the Republican base.

Mr. Cain’s remarkable—and unexpected—resilience has upset Democrats trying to find hope for change in their 2012 prospects in a reading of Tuesday’s off-year elections and referendums. The easily persuaded are even finding a little. Politico, the Capitol Hill tabloid that sometimes channels a Democratic party organ, concludes that “the Democrats are not dead yet.” But nothing has changed for President Obama. “For many Democratic candidates who will be sharing the ticket with Barack Obama in 2012,” quoth Politico, “the president is not going to be an asset. And in some states, it’s clear he is going to be a dead weight.”

Wesley Pruden is editor emeritus of The Washington Times.

.... The emergence of Mr. Cain as the conservative candidate-of-choice (little Libbrool Lingo for yah, there) undercuts the liberal-Denial and Projection-driven canard that Republicans are racialists. That was the sub-text of the "Democratic" potty's 2008 electoral frauds and thefts.

Reprising that for 2012 is 100% of Barack Obama's remaining "hope."

President-Elect Cain’s escape from the toaster has "changed" that.

And has about cooked Obambi's goose!

He hired a defamation lawyer, and while I’m no lawyer and don’t know the laws regarding public figures, if he finds evidence that Axelrod is behind this, I hope he sues the effin’ living shiet out of that doosh and puts up ad after ad after ad for the next 12 months who is responsible.

Here's what is happening with Herman Cain.

These hardships are growing, molding, and defining his character and this change is every so slightly visible in each new public appearance.

The old adage "that which doesn't kill me only serves to make me stronger" is based on the Biblical verse of St Paul in Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [His] purpose."

Herman is a man of faith and, as such, his daily walk is part of his ministry.

God is answering the prayers of the faithful in His country to send a champion to defeat the abomination currently serving as President. He sent some good men and women for testing...but it seems that Herman has emerged head and shoulder above the rest.

Thank you, Lord.

Check out the voice analysis lie detection stuff.

He’s telling the truth—she ain’t.

whilst I’m sure he is telling the truth, I wouldn’t put much stock in the voice analysis lie detector program.

He doesn't have to actually win a law suit in a court of law (although that would be nice). He only has to convince enough fence-sitting Republicans and independents that this was a DNC/MSM political character assassination attempt.

If he does that, he wins a lot of votes. A lot of votes.

So a law suit is worth the effort. It puts the MEDIA on trial.

I like the “high-mileage” term used to describe the “ladies” who came forward.

For that is exactly what they have as reputations.

Last night I sent a donation to He-Who-Should-Have-Been -Toast.

Evil triumphs when good men do nothing.

And this witch hunt is just evil.

Damn right its the Democrat machine. Having Gloria Allred as the accuser’s attorney was the proof.

Growing up black in the segregated South, and overcoming all manner of visible and hidden obstacles, to not just “get by,” but to excel and achieve at the highest levels... Herman Cain is stronger than any white person can possibly understand.

I have said for months that even my toaster would make a better President than Obummer. It now appears that the toasters of the world also know that Cain would be a good deal and they refuse to heat the coils. Not only are toasters better than Obummer, they’re smarter than the “conventional wisdom” of the MSM and Left.
