His Highness David Brooks slams Herman Cain: "Running for office is a job for professionals."
The Daily Caller ^ | 11/05/2011 | Jeff Poor

Posted on 11/05/2011 11:54:01 AM PDT by martosko

On Friday’s broadcast of NPR’s “All Things Considered,” host Robert Siegel asked New York Times columnist David Brooks if the surfacing of sexual allegations from the late 1990s reported by Politico last week was “the beginning of the end” for businessman Herman Cain’s presidential run.

“There was no beginning,” Brooks said. “He was a TV show that lasted for a little while. Let me stand up for elitist insiders — this is a job for professionals. Running for office is a job for professionals. Governing is a job for professionals. What Herman Cain did this — let’s leave aside the harassment, his handling of this was completely unprofessional. Every amateur candidate knows how to do a better job than this.”

And what do we have to show for all of that debt? Not to mention the couple trillion a year spent from taxes collected.

The smartest man in the universe apparantly didn’t get the memo. The faux scandal and attempted lynching didn’t work. If any thing Cain is stronger.

Oh and David, it isn’t the so-called amateurs who’re screwing up the country. It’s you so-called “professional” ilk who’re doing it. Or didn’t you notice while you were ogling yourself in the mirror.

Translation: running for office is a job for slimy liars who would have have entered the race with a good cover story for all accusations, true or not.

Brooks is not alone with his eliteist viewpoint. There’s several lower level so called GOP pundits who have that same view. These fools do not realize what a threat Cain is to the established hyphenated democrat Demo-Coms order.

At the very top of the conservative order guys like Limbaugh, Levin,Savage are are supporting Cain in his travail because they realize Cain is a change the Demo=Coms don’t want..

"Running for office is a job for professionals."

What has 25 years of "Professionals" got us?

Tens of millions have lost their homes, businesses, investments, careers etc.

The steady decline of the American standard of living, with a dying economy.

A country intentionally flooded millions of ignorant uneducated Mexicans who are literally choking off our entire system including our electoral process, schools, hospitals, jails, social services, all for dirt cheap labor.

A government who has made American citizenship all but pointless.

A corrupt growing controlling government has sentenced the next 10 generations into a life of debt, while forcing their parents to bail out the super wealthy corrupt.

Yeah, we need more political professionals.

It's "the professionals" that have flushed us down the financial toilet, teabagger.

We're tired of "professional" politicians.

Brooks considered Obama a professional. What more do you need to know about him and what he thinks?

What the pros are best at is looting the public treasury - which is why we need amateurs to throw them in jail.

I think Mr. Brooks’s point was that although Cain appears to be a professional-pol frequency liar, his technique is decidedly amateur.

The best governors this country ever had were non-professionals who believed in non-professional government: Washington, Madison, Adams and Jefferson.

Let me stand up for elitist insiders — this is a job for professionals.

Professional Politicians is precicely why we are in the crapper. Give me an honest human being anyday.

Once Sarah Palin hit the scene, talking like a FReeper, it woke me up to realize that the PP class have been pissing on my leg and telling me it is raining so long that I nodded off. Now when a person can't say something with meaning in 1000 words or less my PP detector goes off.

Pretty much narrows it down to Sarah and Cain so far. Mittins is an obvious Progressive PP Plant, and Mr Texas is the RNC PP Plant, leaving Newt the Old School PP.

We need Americans running America, PP just piss me off.
