As we find ourselves gliding through another week of political headlines, I continue to be amazed by the ream of personal attacks mounted against Herman Cain by black liberals. You wouldn’t think America elected its first black president by the way black Democrats, those so called progressives, who the media paint as the compassionate party, are behaving. From calling Cain a “sell out” to “Uncle Tom” because he chooses to be a Republican doesn’t sound like progressive talk to me but rather backwards racist talk.
The latest black Democrat to mouth off with racist comments about Cain is Karen Finney.
Former Democratic National Committee spokesperson, now political strategist (whose resume reads as long as a roll of toilet paper) appeared on MSNBC and said:
“I think Herman Cain might be coming out with a new show because he’s become the new Donald Trump in the race and it’s hard to take him seriously,” Finney said.
I guess Finney missed the recent poll showing Cain leading GOP field by 24% and Romney trailing at 17%. Apparently, Finney doesn’t bother to read or worry about the facts. Trump’s failed flirt with running for president lasted maybe a month while Cain is still in the game. Looks like Cain is auditioning for POTUS. It’s hard to take anything Finney says seriously. Ah, but there’s more from this pontificating, elitist Democrat.
She continued: “I think he makes that white Republican base of the party feel okay, feel that they’re not racist because they can like this guy, I think they like him because he’s a black man who knows his place.” The comment conjures up the ugly side of slavery and Civil Rights when racist whites used to call blacks ‘boy,’ ‘son,’ ‘girl’ and remind them to know their place in the lower rung of society or suffer the consequences of lynchings, beatings and death. Why would a black woman like Finney, who purports to be such righteous liberal, say this to a black man in the 21st century?
Imagine if a Republican said this about black Karen Finney? Calls of outrage and condemnation would never cease from Democrats. I think Cain knows his place as a black man in the GOP very well, it’s called the top of the polls. I wonder if Finney knows her place. The book Game Change recounts Ted Kennedy being deeply offended (see page 218) during the 2008 presidential campaign, when former President Bill Clinton asked Kennedy to endorse Hillary Clinton. “Teddy fumed that Clinton had said, A few years ago, this guy [Obama] would have been getting us coffee.”
Finney shouldn’t kid herself that the Democrat political establishment is all about helping blacks advance to the highest ranks of the party. Democrats, particularly black Democrats are angry Herman Cain rising in the polls among GOP contenders because he erases Obama as a political novelty. Moreover, Cain’s ascent and message of blacks being brainwashed by the Democrat Party, threatens to destroy Democrats grand illusion that their policies of government welfare help black Americans excel economically.
It’s driving black Democrats crazy a black man actually has the nerve to run for president as a Republican. Cain actually refers to himself as a black man, unlike Obama. When was the last time you heard Obama call himself a black man.
Democrats like to go around pretending to be shocked and amazed at the sheer notion black Republicans exist. But the reality is from Sojourner Truth, to Blanche Bruce, and Frederick Douglass to name a few, black Republicans have been around a long time and continue to thrive today with the likes of Oklahoma’s new Speaker of the House Rep. T.W. Shannon, Utah Mayor Mia Love and Florida Lt. Governor Jennifer Carroll. To perhaps the dismay of liberals, black Republicans aren’t going anywhere but rather growing in numbers and voices everyday and we will NOT be put in “our place” by Democrats or anyone.
Apparently, his place is in the White House.

I went looking and did not find a working link for Karen Finney. All seem to have been wiped in short order!
The character Simon Legree in Harriet Beecher Stowe’s book “Uncle Toms Cabin” was the black hat, he was the back stabber who informed on others trying to escape to freedom, keeping them in servitude as slaves. Uncle Tom on the other hand was the hero, giving advice and helping others escape to freedom.
Herman Cain is Uncle Tom, those attacking him are Simon Legree.
Mary Ann Cricchio, who was elected to the board of the restaurant group in 1998 said Cain left such a good impression on the organization that when he spoke at a group event in January of this year, as he was considering a presidential bid, “he had unanimous support in the room.”
That quote was actually a part (at the very end) of the Politico piece that surfaced the allegations.
This week I have heard at least three other National Restraunt Association executives or board members say similar things about Cain. So, those reports do not jive with what this person is saying.
I am sure that Cain, like every other executive, have people that love him and others who do not think so highly of him in the organizations he presided over.

I am reading and hearing lots of people have jumped off the Cain bandwagon...they’ve either jumped to Perry or Newt...they are saying we are seeing a Clinton in Cain. We do not need another like Clinton in the WH. And what we’ve seen is only the first volley ... more is on the way.
Here’s how nutty libs are: They’re calling conservative Republicans racists because they would like to elect a black man to the position of most powerful man on the planet. Now that is the definition of mental illness.
I’m not buying it. This went from gestures and talk...to someone claiming he had invited someone up to a room...to now someone saying they went to the room with him and woke up at his apartment.
Sounds like all the stories are mixing together to produce the worst possible scenario of all of them combined...and it was 20+ years ago and just coming out now.
Just not buying it without a LOT more factual, direct testimony and facts than all of this hearsay and annonymous accusations.
The woman and her attorney are preparing a statement now on the incident. IF Cain would have kept his mouth shut...it’d be dead today. It is always the coverup that gets you. She is coming out of the shadows because of the lies Cain has said.
We’ll see. Right now, I trust and am supporting Herman Cain. I do not believe he lied. For me it will have to be a whole lot more than she said he said.

Interesting how Teddy got it wrong, twice.
Clinton's solecism was not so much noticing Obama's recent lowliness -- in 2001 Obama was "walked around" ex-Clintonista dinner and cocktail parties by Vernon Jordan (permanent member of the Bilderberg Society, btw) for the very first time; until then, he was a New Democratic Party Communist rabble-rouser from a small patch of Chicagoland, a nobody whose sole achievement was scoring big bucks off Clinton Agriculture with Shirley Sherrod's bogus "black farmers" lawsuit that Clinton Justice laid down for, whereas a halfway competent Solicitor General's office would have kicked the chiseling Sherrod's broad ass over the moon.
So Clinton wasn't wrong to emphasize Obama's rent-boy lowliness. What Teddy should have corrected Slick about was the fact that, "a few years ago", Hillary's "place" -- as First Lady -- would have had her getting coffee for the President, too.
I hope Beastie spends the next 20 years getting coffee for Slick and his girlfriends. As for Ted, well, he's already tied up -- literally -- getting molten lava for Moloch and Asmodeus, with Mary Jo Kopechne chained around his neck.
Is the Cain Sexual Harassment Story Just Like The Clarence Thomas/Anita Hill Accusation? No.
In defending Herman Cain, some conservatives have compared what Cain is going through to what Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas had to endure during his confirmation process. The Cain supporters once again claim that the liberals, or even his Republican opponents, are so scared of Herman Cain, a black conservative, that they have to attack his character.
That argument insults the intelligence of anyone who has a brain. The big difference between the two incidents is that in Cain’s case, the two women who actually filed complaints, signed agreements and were paid money to quietly go away. In the Clarence Thomas/Anita Hill allegation one must remember that Hill never filed a complaint, never signed an agreement, and never was awarded a monetary settlement in return for her silence.
A third National Restaurant Association employee has told the Associated Press that Cain harassed her as well. That allegation has far more in common with the Anita Hill situation, but even still, she may have not came forward because she didn’t want to lose her job like the two women who did file complaints. The only real similarity between Cain and Clarence Thomas is the color of their skin. Comparing the two is like comparing apples and oranges, which is something Cain says he knows a lot about.
Oh, hell no -- that girl be quadroon, y'all, and if someone took her in hand and fixed her up, and got rid of those trashy Washington Think-Tank Working Girl clothes, she'd be worth big bucks down in the French Quarter among gentlemen of a certain sporting disposition.

Tear down Herman Cain! If Perry can't be the nominee -- then let it be Romney! (Oh, wait, you were turning that around and telling us that not too long ago, weren't you? "A vote for Cain is a vote for Romney => Obama"?)

I must be a racist. I despise Charles Rangel, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, obama, Sheila Jackson Lee, Karen Finney..... oh, wait! I don’t despise them because they’re black. I despise them because they’re frauds!
