Is it not obvious that the loans should be paid back by the borrower, and that any offer to pay your loans for you should be rejected?

Maybe some of the recent crop would feel that way but I paid mine off right on schedule and have zero regrets.

I got a very small house, kids share bedrooms, small yard in a working class area.

I dont mind students paying student loans. However paying them with 100% interest is enslavement and unconstitutional.
Get rid of student loans. Get rid of the Dept of Ed, and Federally backed student loans and I’m all for a one time payoff to get rid of the Mafia in Washington D.C.
