IBOPE Zogby Poll (Cain 45%, Romney 21%, Rick Perry 7%, Bachmann, 1%)

Obama Approval 43% & 39% Say He Deserves 2nd Term

UTICA, NY--Herman Cain is now the runaway leader among Republican presidential primary voters with 45%, more than twice that of second-place Mitt Romney (21%). Rick Perry, who led with 41% in late August, has fallen to 7%, and Michele Bachmann, who led in June and July, now gets just 1%.

President Barack Obama's approval rating among all voters is 43%, and the percentage saying he deserves re-election is 39%.

These results are from an IBOPE Zogby interactive poll conducted from Oct. 11-14.

Cain appears to have won support of voters who previously supported Perry or Bachmann. Romney's 21% is the highest we have shown for him in match-ups with the current field of announced candidates.

Republican Candidates (asked only of the party's primary voters)

If the Republican primary for president were held today, for whom would you vote?

The only thing that concerns me is money. All of us that want to see President Cain need to donate, donate, and donate some more. Hopefully, the big donors wake up and figure out that Cain is our man and quit dumping money on Mittens and Perry.

Slow down there. Cain is doing well right now but he has a long way to go to be president. One step at a time. He has an uphill battle still IMO because the establishment types I the party will do their best to keep him locked out.

The tea party has its work cut out. We have stepped up before and we can do it again and with Gods grace we will do it.

I agree with both of what you said. I was excited when Perry got in but was massively let down in his debate performances. And then the illegal alien issue. It was a big let down.

I had been a Cain fan from early on, but, to be honest, didn’t really think He would get a shot to prove himself.

But if Perry won the nomination, the media would have had a field day with his debate performances against President Obama.

I’m not convinced by Cain, but I am convinced that Romney is bad news. Therefore these recent polls are good news. Anybody who can knock Romney off his perch, is good.

It was just a thought. What I see in Cain is a totally honest person. He’ll make mistakes, just like all of us do but I believe he’ll admit those mistakes and not point fingers at others. I also believe that he cares about his country and will do everything he can to bring it back to what it is supposed to be. It’s refreshing to say the least.

It won’t be easy and it will be tough on everyone but it can be done. I must say also that even though it will be tough, it will be fun to rebuild. I’m looking forward to the fun times.

One more thing that I don’t think Mr. Cain would say. Remember that Irish song about Kissing my royal Irish ass? That’s what I would say to people that think this country will fall. “Kiss my royal ass.” Watch us now.

You’ll hear some critisicm that this is an electronic poll (apparently they’re trying to modernize polling by doing something different).

Bottom line though, this Zogby poll has always been a head of the trend and shows the right direction of what the other polls showed a few days (or weeks later). If it has Cain trending upwards big time, then it’s a good bet the other polls with having him trending upwards big time soon also.

I may have outed Clairity as a Democrap mole. He/She/It won’t retort to me anymore because I challenged “them” (assuming multiple personality syndrome) and have not heard back. As we all know, “them” are usually pretty quick when they want to argue their talking points.

Then one begs to question if CW is not also one of the lingering personalities.

Better:

Cain is just Mitt’s stalking horse don’t you know! Cain-Mitt, Mitt-Cain, it doesn’t matter Mitt has merely sent his errand-boy Cain out to fetch him the nomination. Why even with 51% of the delegates Cain will just turn them over to Mitt. Cain is running just to sell books and get a nice cushy job on Fox don’t you know that? Cain is part of the FED! Cain has horns and a tail! Cain wants your first born in taxes! And that’s just the good things about Cain.

If reports are accurate he's made $2M in 2 weeks. Not bad pickings, and likely not peaked either. Prospects look very good to surpass Romney and Perry war chests in a month or so.

Mr. Herman Cain is on a roll, the likes of which has rarely been seen in a presidential primary season. The attacks on him will multiply exponentially and in proportion to the desparation of his chief rival (Romney), the GOP establishment (including most Fox news contributors), the Obamanation campaign, and the entire Marxist media propagandists.

If Mr. Cain can withstand the onslaught that is most assuredly headed straight in his direction, then there can be no question that he will be the next president of the United States.

They’re all going to try to take you down and deliver the kill shot tomorrow at the GOP debate, Mr. Cain. Prayers up for you to stay strong, stay honest, stay clear-headed.
