As we all do.Rush had a great monologue on the importance of the New Media this week. Can’t recall the day but it was an excellent expose of how constantly getting the truth out will eventually sink the DBM slanted news and it does.

The more I hear of Herman Cain, the more I like him. He stands by what he believes and stays on message.

I will say it again, if Romney is the nominee I will not vote for him for this reason - he is pro-choice. I vote my conscious and cannot vote for a man who does not believe in protecting our most vulnerable citizens - infants in the womb and the elderly.

Now go figure in the embedded/hidden taxes.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Yes, indeed! Embedded in all the sale price of all services and goods sold in this nation are the following:

— employer's contribution to social security
- -property taxes ( mostly going to the godless government schools)
— the accounting costs to pay taxes on the employees and profits
— the cost of the time and money to manage all licensing fees and other regulations.
— All the hidden taxes and fees in all the products used in business.

Geeze!...And, people wonder why the price of American goods are not competitive abroad or why companies move manufacturing off-shore? Is a “duh” needed here.

Everyone pays taxes in the U.S. They are hidden taxes that they don't see.

Personally....I am sick of it! It would take a lot to coax me and my husband back into the rat race of running a business and managing employees.

You mean like the Perry camp calling Bachmann, then Cain, then anyone else who questions Perry on the issues, "Romney's stalking horse, Romnney's VP candidate, Romneybots etc" in a few thousand posts?

That sort of temperate tantrum??

I did. I showed you where your calculations ignore the payroll taxes.

Although there’s no guarantee prices will go down I’ll accept your premise.

Well, there's no guarantee, but with any given product; if there is reduction in the bottom line, AND there is competition...when one producer reduces wholesale prices, others will have to follow.

Free market forces.

I guess one of my biggest worries about Cain besides his lack of a billion bucks in the bank is that he has little political experience in a big league that is all political for the other side.

If you don’t vote for Romney should he be the nominee, who do you vote for? And how will your vote advance the overall cause of conservatism?

Let us assume prices do not go down. Let us assume Business just pockets the tax cut.

Fine, that is much better for average citizens then the Fed Government getting it.

The money the business saves on taxes either gets paid out in dividends (think increases to your 401k or pension fund), get invested in building the business (i.e. more economic activity and more jobs) or gets put in the bank (increase in capital available for investment and economic growth by new businesses which thus lower interest rates for all borrowers of any sort-credit cards, student loans, mortgages etc.)

But that will not happen. If Business A pockets the tax cut, his competitors will not in order to undercut Business A's sales base. Over time Business A will have to either cut prices to stay competitive or lose market share and profits.

So either way 9-9-9 is a win for average citizens at the expense of Big Government and it's cronies.

Someone on screaming faces was mentioning that without the years of pre-charge for Obamacare (if they repeal it) there is no mechanism for deficit reduction.

I was amazed at how he dissed Issa!

Cummings is a typical DemocRAT - their normal position is to 'kill the messenger'. He's not only providing cover for Holder, but for all the rest of the crew between the Phoenix ATF on up. No mention was made of the other similar operations that were underway from Florida and Texas, or the "Grenade" disclosures. I do think Rep Issa and Sharyl Attkisson got some telling points out to the sheeple, but was disappointed that the whole thing was chopped to ten minutes. This is a very big story, with labyrinthal turns, that needs a Watergate Press to bring it all out.

Kudo's to Sharyl Attkisson for digging through the flak, and also to CBS for getting some of this out to national exposure. Now to keep CBS on point to ensure that they don't back away. Who knows - this could be the thing that helps bury Dan Rather's legacy. (Hey - I can wish for a pre-Vietnam Cronkite news media, no?)

Elijah Cummings, D-Md. Trying very hard to protect AG.

Boy I’ll say. I’d venture that every clearly spoken word out of his mouth was a lie.

I missed some of the Issa interview (worth going back to watch!), but what I did see showed Issa correcting host (Bob Schiefer?)...who was saying Holder said he didn’t know the facts...No Holder said he had just learned about it....

Cummings claimed Issa was on witch hunt and that it was a plan conceived and executed in the AZ office....

"Boy I'll say. I'd venture that every clearly spoken word out of his mouth was a lie.

It seems like everyone is being led around by their noses on this F & F thing and doing too little in getting those involved to flip and turn states evidence in order to avoid prosecution.

There are numerous state laws that cover the type of criminal activities that have taken place in the Department of Justice (DoJ). So much so and to the extent that it would allow states Attorney Generals (AG), County District Attorneys (DA), and city prosecutors to proceed with their own investigations (piggybacking off of Issa/Grassley investigations) and prosecute a number of these people as being accessories to the murder of federal agents and the gun running that occurred within their state and county jurisdiction. There is no type of claim of immunity to prosecution when it develops that the causal effect of a persons malfeasance in office leads to the death of innocent people.

You want to get results and see them spilling their guts, then start filing criminal complaints and watch the plea bargain deals exposing the people responsible. I forget which politician it was that almost exploded and had a nervous breakdown when the suggestion was made to prosecute criminally the actors in F & F! And….. No independent prosecutor until after this upcoming election in order to avoid the appointment of one of Obama's or Holder's cronies. AGs, DAs, and prosecutors ………….. have some balls and just do it! Just do it!

My problem with the Cain plan is the lack of any way to prevent increasing the tax rates

100% of the American people will stop them from raising taxes because everyone has skin in the game. We The People will stand up and say “NO” as it should be btw.

There’s half a chance I’d try ‘This Week’ with John Lewis if I thought there was any hope they’d address the echo twinkies fiasco in Atlanta. There’s no chance I’d tolerate listening to David “UhErrUh” Axelrod discuss anything. Ever.

“echo twinkies fiasco”??
What did I miss?
