If Romney is the best the GOP has to offer, then I’m no longer GOP. It’s not that I’ve left the GOP, the GOP has left me. Hope they’re not thinking they need a big turnout.
After another debate or two, by mid-November or so, it will be time for all of us conservatives to have a serious discussion of tactics.
If we unite behind one candidate we can beat Romney. The question is when might we do so? Once the primary calendar is set, it would be a good thing if the grassroots could figure out some way to keep Romney from winning with only 25-35% support.
>If Romney is the best the GOP has to offer, then Im no longer GOP.<
I’m watching Fox. Some older female commentator is saying that Romney “is the only candidate that can win”. She is clueless that if he’s nominated, the conservative base will either write in their choice leave the president blank.
I knew McCain was a flawed candidate. Dole before him didn’t have a snowball’s chance. IMHO, Romney has less popularity than McCain or Dole. McCain beat Romney like an OWS drum in the last primary.
WHY on earth does a large part of the GOP establishment refuse to learn from experience??
