It’s sad that there’s a need to clarify FR’s position on what is or is not an acceptable candidate when taking back OUR government.

The State-Run-Media, coupled with the Establishment elites, have been promoting him for the past 18 to 24 months, and ripping the opponents (real, or imagined), with smears, inuendo, un-sourced accusations/smear campaigns, etc., and will continue to do so right to the Republican Primary.
There are ROMNEYBOTS right here on FR, who cave on Principle, just to get SOMEONE on the Republican ticket that can supposedly beat OBAMANATION......not good at all.
Do you have any examples of that you can point to? Or are you just trying to help your own candidate (Rick Perry) by trying to cast aspersions on those who are supporting Cain? I suspect it might be the latter.

I’m with you. Got a fund raising letter from Romney today. It goes where the sun don’t shine.
I don’t care for Romney much, but I won’t have a say about who the nominee will be, anyway. That’ll be decided long before I get to vote. I’m therefore not getting too excited about anybody just yet.
I will not vote for Obama however, as the romney-haters here will do. I just won’t do it.

I think you are being too stringent - after all, if Romney is elected President, he might bring onboard good advisors, like John Holdren, and support good policies, like forced sterilization.

I appreciate you Jim, for the fact you’ve always targeted Romney when so many people here attack their own. I don’t know what I’ll do if he’s selected. We live in California, so I don’t think any candidate will help us here, though. I just hope it’s not him, because I want us to have a chance with her judicial picks and even if he won...I wouldn’t trust him that much.

Since you seem to be on this thread tonight, I’d like to thank you - as one of your RARE New York City conservatives - for creating this site. It’s been a godsend to me.
I’m gonna get a check out to you soon. It’s been tough in our household in the last year and I should have given earlier when things were better (under a Republican Administration).
