49% (23%/47%) of the communist's supporters feel strongly. 79% (41%/52%) of those who oppose the druggie feel strongly. Intensity matters, and exposure to Obama is building intensity among those who believe in limited government.

That's horrifying. And we think he's unelectable? Guess again. The country's even dumber than it was three years ago.

It’s really amazing that this Rasmussen Poll has run at an average of -22 for the first third of the month of October, then lo and behold we start seeing -16 and -19. What gives? I guess Ras is still hitting “pockets of idiots” in his polling. You just have to wonder how anyone can still think FUBO is anything but a crooked, evil cretin whose mission is to destroy America!

As much as we are loathe to admit it, class warfare does have a certain appeal to certain segments of our population

How does this track day for day with the non-stop press coverage of the Occupiers? Diversion? Naive citizens nodding along in agreement with the anti-capitalism crowd because of a personal gripe?

I don't think the two events (rising approval, occupy everywhere) can be disentangled from each other.

And that is the purpose...

The calling out of Scotty by the WH shortly after Obama’s poll numbers started to drop back in 2009 have no doubt had an effect.

Clearly 1/2 of this country's citizens are morons. Idiocracy was not fiction, it was a prophecy.

Scarier because there is no opposition party.

Rivals but partners.

With an opposition party that could find a voice, (or wanted to) Obama would be a little lower. Still these kind of strongly approve, somewhat approve, strongly disapprove - etc- just pretty meaningless IMO.

Bread and circus’s

Obummer couldn’t draw 200 people in the “Burgh”. There is no way that his rating is that high .

Who cares about filled chairs? He pulled in $70 million, like 20% over projections.

You people cheer when this number goes to -22, and then you refute it when it goes to -16.

Fact is, Chicago politics works in Chicago. And they've made America a lot more like Chicago. Class Warfare works. For long enough.

Yup, when Rasmussen shows Obama lower in the polls he is a hero and the only pollster we can trust, when the same pollster shows Obama recovering he is a sell out who is carrying Hussein's water. It's quite comical really.

Ras polls likely voters. Hussein dropped off his highs once he started pushing the stimulus, and from Obamacare on has been hovering around 45-50% - with some dips in the lower 40's. And guess what? When election day rolls around Obama is going to end up getting probably 45-50%. Rassmussen's likely voter screen is probably going to prove very accurate.

Class Warfare works. For long enough.

Yup, and the more dependent people are on the government combined with the fewer people who actually pay any income tax, the more popular class warfare will be. Ask people if we should tax millionaires more and a solid 1/3 of Republican respondents will usually answer yes - just like Democrats do. Saying that, what works in polling often flops at the ballot box. Taxing rich people ALWAYS polls well, but doesn't actually pan out as well when the votes are counted.

Still, Obama will end up with 45-50% of the vote. He will be very difficult to beat. The fact that he still polls in the 40's with a 9.1% unemployment rate 3 years into his term is evidence of how resilient he is and how tough this election is going to be. With a billion dollars and the MSM firmly in his corner, it would not surprise me at all if he won again in 2012.

He's supporting the Wall Street people. And he's demonizing the Repubs more than usual.

Many of the disapproves were leftists who are coming back on board with Obama now that he's showing more class warfare.
