No it will not. You got it exactly backwards. Our current system has created a massive shadow economy where millions do work "off the books". A national sale tax eliminates that.
It is not a VAT. It is completely different then a VAT. A VAT taxes every level of production. The 9-9-9 only TAXES IT AT THE FINAL POINT OF SALE.
But I'm opposed to Mr. Cain not his tax plan.He has zero world experience and has demonstrated little knowledge or grasp in the debate
I sorry but to say that indicates you have not bothered to listen to a word he has said nor take a look at his proposals. Other then GB 1, Cain has just as much "Foreign Policy Experience" as any of our Presidents since Ford. So come up with another attack line cause that one, like the rest of your post, is complete devoid of any rational merit.
To allow Obama another term is unthinkable and untenable.
I'm convinced the country couldn't survive four more years of him. Even if he loses, I'm not certain we can even recover from his policies or the type of voters who are for him and those polices. It's going to take a Herculean effort. We can only hope enough folks wake up in time.
The cigarette tax is not a sales tax.it is paid at point of origin and added to the wholesale price. That is not what Cain is discussing. Hewants point of sale. Do you know how many agents will be required to monitor compliance. In NYC we employ hundreds of agents, the state has several thousand more. Retailers will have three levels of tax paperwork and record keeping.
As for experience, Bush 43 had his father.Sowcroft.Rice on his team. Clinton had the advantage of the supposed end of history era. Neither had the expectation of int’l crisis. Right now the world is falling apart, politically and financially. The US cannot afford on the job training.
BTW I have tried not to respond in the personal tone used by you. Insulting replies, I find.useless. Have a good night.
